My mom found my grandmas old slides (over 500!) but they do not fit in her slide projector, which is for the standard 2x2 inch mounts. My grandma's slides are 2 3/4 inch square. Is there a viewer or projector that would fit that size mount? I've tried to look online but it seems like most are for 2x2. Thanks!

Do they do "pick up in store" for any other type of item ordered online? I don't do much shopping there other than photos, so I don't know. But I don't see a location designated for pick-ups, so I assume not. I wonder if we could pressure them to do so?????

I think they do "store pickup" but only for "select items". On their site it lists a bunch of things like laptops and cameras. So I don't know why they wouldn't let people pick up photo items in store.

I chatted with someone on the Costco site and she left to go find the answer. She came back and said no, you can no longer get items shipped to the store, only to your home. So, I got two different answers from 2 people! Sorry. I tried!

I called the Costco photo center and they said you can still get items shipped to the store for pickup. You may want to verify because the girl on the phone seemed confused and I repeated it several times. But she did say yes you can have it shipped to the store. I may email them for verification.

Our Costco store got rid of their photo section awhile ago and now that space is filled up with large tvs, which I'm sure is a much larger money-maker. I've ordered many metal prints from Costco and they've turned out excellent and at a reasonable price. Last time I ordered 8 metal prints and had them shipped to the store, since shipping to my home was expensive. Are you still going to be able to get photo items shipped to the store?

Thanks for all this continued advice! I'm really hoping we can have a lax season this spring! I really missed it last year. Such a fun sport and fun to shoot as well. I'll keep all your advice in mind for sure. And I'll probably be posting more here when and if I can finally start shooting. I'm sure I'll have more questions then than I do now! Thanks so much and best to you all in the new year.

I had four dogs once and know how hard it is to get them to pose for a picture. Much easier with one. The one I have now looks a lot like your gray and white dog. What breed is he?

That's Leila. She's a mix of Australian Cattle Dog and Chinese Crested Powderpuff. Odd combination. But she is a good herder (she only herds people!), really smart and very stubborn. She's also very fast and would do great at agility but her attitude holds her back!

Pete's a nice-looking possum. We have one that routinely plays dead when my dogs are outside. As soon as they come in the house, he gets up and walks away.

That’s a delightful photograph. How did you get your beautiful dogs to pose so well?

Thanks! It was chaos, really. This photo is a split second in time when they were all still. It helps that someone behind me was holding a bag of dog treats! I would have rather all the dogs been looking at the camera, but they found the dog treats way more interesting!

A Happy Holiday season to all of you! If anyone saw my Ghost Dogs post at Halloween, we sadly lost the middle ghost not long after that picture was taken. So this is the first Christmas photo without him. But, we did gain a very hyper Corgi (daughter's dog) and an elderly dachshund (son's dog) for the photo. Hoping everyone has a great holiday and wishing for a much better New Year to you all!

When I first looked at this I thought...I've never seen a flag with a heron on it before!

Then I looked again! Well done!

Love Beaver Marsh, Jack. I always see herons there. Excellent photos. I think I like #3 the best for it's composition. Nice and sharp. Well done.
