Pretty cool! You would have to be desperate to call that a four pointer!!

Yea, Understood but points only need to be 1 inch and the third image when blown up shows 2 points on one side. Let him go and let him grow.
He came by the trail cam on Nov 22, 24 and 26th and not since. I wouldn't shoot it, I would want a full body mount costing thousands and I hunt for the meat.

Not looking for critiques, Some pictures I pulled off the game cam last week. I cleaned and cropped a bit but...
These are Piebald deer and not true albino. Albino deer have pink eye and totaly white hair. Piebalds characteristically have varying amounts of white hair in their coat, ranging from slight amounts on the legs or side to an almost totaly white coat. Looks like a 4 pointer maybe a year or so old I heard that last winter, there was seen a Piebald about 7 miles from me. Perhaps the same.

We had the 60th Anniversary event up at our Collingrove Hillclimb track back in 2012. I was the official photographer up at the "Hill" for many years until my disability got the better of me, I had to retire a couple of years ago.
These are just a few of the many pics I took at this event.
You will get an idea of the many and varied types/makes of cars that competed.
The guy who owned the McLaren actually competed, he'd just bought the car.
Some of the more exotics only did a demo run, they were worth too much to risk a real run.

Looks like a great event. You got some nice shots of some very nice cars..

Retirement on the shore.
Very Interesting shot 13, I like it !!~ However it appears that the sun is either coming up or going down due the color of the clouds on the left. The piers or trees/post in the water, their shadow in the water seem to be at different angles. The reflection of the boat house seems to make me think the sun was behind 13.. but I don't see that light on the mountain in the background. And the boat, what kind of boat is that? Sailboat? Row boat? The sitting area in the back looks large. I can image someone holding on to a tiller there. The transom a motor couldn't go there.
13, tell us more about this post???

Which of these is the most powerful image? I would appreciate your input. Thanks, Max
Last time in Key West Mallory Square did not give me sky and clouds like this. #1 is nice if you are taking the shot of the boat. Image two is powerful. Over boat I would have cloned out the schrubs and trees of Sunset Key, behind and in front of the sail boat are fine. But IMHO #3 is my Fav !! and there are always boats going in and out of the harbor.

Just curious - How many of you (men, only) have a mustache or beard of any kind? I had a mustaches for decades, and then I shaved it off. Now, I have a mustaches and chin whiskers. Since Covid, many more men have beards.
Wow 9 pages.... Since I have not been able to grow hair on the top of my head (25 years ago) I shave the head and have a very short full beard. With the correct tools one can trim it every 4-5 days

On our way to the mountains, we stopped an got a photo of a horse and barn. Could not get a photo of the free range cattle, as they were busy blocking the road and cars were behind me.

The images below are of NGC 891 nicknamed the Outer Limits Galaxy since it was one of the Galaxies that was shown in the end credits of the 1960's show called "The Outer Limits" (It was one of my favorite shows back then).
NGC 891 is just over 27 million light years away and can be found in the constellation of Andromeda and shines at magnitude 10.84. This edge on spiral galaxy is thought to look like our galaxy from an edge on perspective and is approximately the same size as the Milky Way. On close inspection you can find several much more distant galaxies in the images. However only PGC 9042 at magnitude 16.23 shows up in my charts and can be found towards the top of the image about 1/2 way between the left edge and center of the image. The other many more faint galaxies can be spotted as elongated blobs of light and or are more fuzzy than the images of the stars.

The first image was taken using Luminance, Red Green and Blue filters. The second image added in an Image taken using a 5 nm Narrow band Hydrogren Alpha filter using the NBRGBCombination routine, which rebalances the color after adding in the Ha data (The NB stands for Narrow band, the RGB stands for Red, Green and Blue). Note: In the second image the little red areas along the dust line in galaxy that are brought out with the Hydrogen Alpha data (You will probably need to use double down to zoom in enough to see these red areas). These red dots reveal locations of active star formation. In both images the background star brightness was reduced to not distract from the image of the Galaxy.

All questions comments and suggestions are welcome.

For those interested
All images were taken using a 16" Schmidt Cassegrain telescope at a 4064mm focal length (F10). The camera used was a monochromatic ASI 6200MM pro cooled camera. The camera images were taken a -12 C with a gain of 100, with binning set to 1x1.

Luminance 91 subframes each 180 seconds long
Red 37 subframes each 240 seconds long
Green 42 subframes each 240 seconds long
Blue 37 subframes each 240 seconds long
Ha 66 subframes each 500 seconds long

I saw this on ebay. It's maybe not the right size but there are others there. Good luck!

Hey Steve. Thanks for the tip, But I contacted the guy and that is not a cap for a 58mm lens but rather a cap that is 58mm inside diameter. That cap fits a 87-205 and a 135 mm lens. Thanks for the thought... John R.

Bridges, Indeed some nice images. Good info on settings used also. Will add that to my cheat sheet book of reminders. Your EXIF data was stripped. What do you use as a white balance for the show ? I think I use auto w b, nothing else fits. nor show true rendering I do a fire work show once a year or so.
