This site should answer the problem, a SMALL fee applies to purchase the codecs, but they do work. Microsoft, as far as I can tell, no longer will supply the codec packs.
http://www.fastpictureviewer.com/codecs/Thanks, that did it. Can't believe Microsoft doesn't support it's own file explorer?
Hi all, I've tried the links you've given me, however, when I try to download the file, I get an error message stating that this file is not compatible with my current operating system. Thanks, for the suggestions, and I'll continue to search

You need the Microsoft Codec updated. I can't remember where I found it, perhaps a Google search might turn it up.
Thanks, i'll give google a shot at Microsoft Codec.
I need some help. I've been shooting with the Canon 7d mk II for over a year and never had a problem pre-viewing photos in windows explorer. I recently bought a 5d mk IV and started shooting photos with it. My problem is, ever since I've shot pics with the 5d mk iv, I can't view those files in windows explorer. I can still view the ones that I shot with the 7d mk ii. My system is windows 10 with 16 gig of memory, 4 gig of video mem, 2tb of hard disk. I've searched the internet and this sight, but haven't found a solution. Hoping someone has ran into this problem before and can offer help.
Try Greentoe. Put in the price you want to pay and see if you get any offers.
Beautiful shot of your pets. Love the composition.

Very nice photos thanks for sharing saying hello from Pittsburgh.
Thanks, and your welcome. Hello from Omaha.
Remove the Kaspersky and then install your canon software. I had Kaspersky and had nothing but problems with it and other software. I now use McAfee and haven't had any issues.
A few pics taken on my birthday. Had a wonderful time taking them and I hope you enjoy.
Thanks everyone for taking a look and the kind words.
