Thanks all, Really just in the right place right time. The piece is sitting on top of my aquarium. The early spring time light only comes in a few day a year and on very clear mornings. Just sitting in my chair with my coffee. Saw that... had too...

Thank you ALL!!!!

Now I need some time to Review & Research, Brands Vs Features Vs Price.

We should have done this the first time!!!! (hind site is always 20-20)

To me the TTL would be the best feature for "my playing" with photography. I still have a hard time remembering D.O.F. theory.
Along with CRS (can't remember sh....tf)

And don't have a lot of money.

A bower model SFD926c was given to me as a gift from Mom, which she purchased from QVC and only had a 30 day return.
that was back in Feb. https://www.amazon.com/Bower-SFD926C-Autofocus-Dedicated-Digital/dp/B001O81HYK
Was using the flash and it "Just stopped" a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was the Battery's. changed them out (2 separate sets). The red ready light goes on but no flash. Tried all kind of settings, no luck... dead.

So, looking for recommendations. Something with the same kind of Spec's and features. TTL, Hot-shoe & remote. Auto zoom, and a few others compared to or better than the Bower.

Did a quick check on E-bay, was kinda liking a Yongnoe (no specific model) flash and the price was really under $100 which is my max budget.

I wanted to catch our 5 month old kitten playing with it, but No.... too slow.

Wouldn't it feel frustrating if you knew or found out after the "fact" that that was all that was left.

I thought it was a bit of Ironic humor...

Wish I would not zoom in too much. I either chop off the top or the bottom.

As a young teenager (a long time ago), while vacationing with family in the hills of Pennsylvania. There was a lake near the cabin. My cousin and I would spend hours there fishing & swimming. One day, I saw what I now know was a brown eagle, swoop down a couple of times to grab his meal. Then with his prize flew off to dine on his catch. I will never forget that moment.
Your sequence I what I saw that day, many many years ago.
Thank you.

Hello, I'm George aka Geo. And I'm click happy....
Been lurking around UHH for a couple of weeks now. I feel an addiction coming on.
As an example, there a car site RegalGS.org that I belong to for Many many years. That site gave me so much confidence and learned so much about the "new cars" and all the electronic controls and such. I even purchased a program that enabled a person to get into the cars computer and make actual changes to the program for improved efficiency and/or performance. Plus the confidence of some major DIY mechanical repairs.
I tell you all that because....

This site seems to have that same kind of "feel" to it. Nicely busy, a lot of opinions/feedback, A great amount of variety of topics. AND, no one seems to slam another person for asking "a dumb question".
I have always liked Photography since high school, My dad once did a few gigs for weddings and did his own darkroom work, B&W back in the 60's. In high school I learned some of the darkroom activities. Then I used a duel lens camera that you had to look down at the top for the viewfinder. I don't remember it's name. But "I think" the film was "126 size" 40 years ago is a long time to remember.
These "new fangled" post production programs are so intimidating..... I have no clue what I'm doing.... And on a tight budget, If it wasn't for Me Mum's Christmas gift last year I would still be using my old Fuji 5200.

That's enough babble from me. the camera is use now and lens's are on my sig line.
