My V-LUX (typ114) allows me to change language by going to the tools menu (That's the one that looks like 2 little hand tools), scrolling down to the 3rd page. Then select "LANGUAGE".
I have a Leica V-LUX (typ114), and it is excellent! The V-LUX (typ114) and the V-LUX 5 are very similar in specifications. I can highly recommens either of them.
I've owned cars for the last 60 years... 3 of them were Fords (They were CRAP!!), several were Chrysler products (Mostly good, but the dashboard on the last one started crumbling and falling apart). Several were GM's (Mostly good). The last 3 were Toyotas (Sienna minivans), and are the best vehicles we've ever owned.
The one I drive has over 140,000 miles on it and still runs fine.
I know the net profits go to Japan, but they were built in the USA, and a lot of the $$ went into the American employees' pockets.
I've never had a problem with Amazon, but if I did, I would report it to my credit card company. You might be able to convince them to reverse it. Then have your cc bank issue you a new card with a different number so when Amazon tries to renew the subscription next year, the charge would be denied.
Then, if they place a negative report on your credit score, sue the living hell out of them!
Most of my computers are Dells. I have a Dell Inspiron 17" 7786, 7 Dell Latitude D830s, and a Dell 15. My only non-Dell is a Microsoft Surface Pro 6.
The reason I have so many is that I do photos with the Easter Bunny, and with Santa at a local mall, plus 2 photo booths. Sometimes I'll have more than 1 gig at the same time. All of it has been sitting unused since Covid hit. I was just notified that Santa will return to the mall this Christmas (Thank you, Lord!).
If it's not mentioned in their gestapo rules, he'd be grandfathered in.

I have a Leica V-LUX (typ 114), that I bought on ebay (pre owned) for a little over $700. I no longer carry my heavy Nikons anymore, except for my pro work.
I know it is made by Panasonic, and has a Leica lens. It is TACK SHARP! You might want to check around for one of these. It's the best bridge camera I've ever owned!
