My public apologies to Bob. I did not see his note regarding uploading images.
It is past my ability to remove the image.
I did report the post to Admin, requesting the image be removed.
There was certainly no disrespect meant

I like both, but if I had to pick one I'd go with number one because of the feeling of vastness and the sunbeam shadows. To me the sun and shadows add a lot. The grass gives it depth.

(If the intent is the barn, then number two.)

I agree. The sunbeam shadows drew my eyes as well as the cloud formation.
However if the subject of the picture was the barn, then #2.

Yes, this seems to be an issue and new condition.

My son called last weekend telling me something was going on with his toes. He sent me a picture and it was nothing I've ever seen before. Called me in a panic last night after he saw this in one of his newsfeeds. Sure looks like it to me.

From the article "“None of these teens or young adults have gone on to have any serious issues,” she said. “They seem to resolve after a few weeks. We’ll have to find out more as this progresses.”".

At least it is not life threatening.

Thank u for chiming in on my very amateur question. Went out w/ my Canon t2i and 10-22mm lens to practice landscape shots. When I got home & inserted the SD card into my computer, I was horrified. Every single shot was out of focus. The lens settings, ISO shutter speed were all fine. I checked my lens & found that it was switched to MF instead of AF. I of course still shoot everything in auto. I'm sure that I checked some of the shots in the field but there I could not tell how bad the focus was. The bright sunshine probably washed out my screen a bit. Also my glasses are polarized which makes the camera screen appear even darker. Needless to say I will always check my lens setting from now on but is there anything else I could have done to discover this sooner.

With the small screen and polarized glasses, chimping (checking the image) is almost useless.
I, infact, turn off the 2 sec. review it saves battery. I will periodically check an image with my reading glasses, zooming in 10x to see if the focus is ok.

I am willing to bet it will be a long time before this happens again.
We have all done it.

Ok, here's another idea that can be considered at times when conformation of focus in the field is difficult, different from the above ones.

If you are going to be using a 10-20mm at average apertures learn what the rough DoF ranges are. Some practice at home will soon teach you that a an aperture of f/x and focus set at a certain distance marking on the lens will give everything in focus from say 2 metres in front of the camera to infinity.

It's a practice I use often use with short FLs in very low light where AF is impossible and MF very dodgy.

I would think that if he is going to check the distance settings on the lens along with the rest of the process, it would be easier to simply check the AF/MF switch.

We all do it. Don't beat yourself up. There's a suggestion above to use AI Servo 'continuous' focus, preferably set to a Back Button Focus. This was one of the most impactful changes I made to my shooting technique about 6 years ago. Your EOS T2i lets you make this change. I didn't pull your manual. You might need to look at C.Fn-4 on that model, using I believe the 3 setting. If you're interested but have difficultly finding / understanding how to set-up, just give a follow-up question. Once you get the hang of telling the camera to always be focusing whenever your thumb is pressing the BBF, you just have to remember every once in a while to check the AF/MF setting on the lens, trying to make it a habit whenever mounting a lens or turning on the camera.

Why "AI Servo" when shooting landscape with stationary objects?

I have a Canon 60D which has served me extremely well and is now about 7 years old. I have a problem in that when I connect it via cable to a television set or to my computer, I cannot get the images to playback.

I have both units switched off prior to connecting them and then turn them on but it does not work and nor does any combination of one off, one on etc get it to function. The only way I can get to view my images is to use either a card reader into the computer or by entering the card directly into the Television slot.

I would be very grateful if anyone had any idea as to what the reason could be. It might of course be an internal fault that requires professional servicing.

Other than this the camera works well.

Thank you

Can we presume:
1- It used to work with the old cable
2- You are selecting the correct HDMI port on the TV
3- The process you are using now, used to work and now doesn't?
4- You are using the same TV as in the past?
5- The HDMI port on the TV works with another signal source such as another camera or perhaps cable box?

Living in Central NJ we don't see a lot of eagles. In fact I know of two nests, and only one that I can check out, it's around 1/4 mile from the nearest access point. So it was a big deal to get some pix of this one. I have a bunch of different shots & crops, tell me what you think. Please!

Very well done, focusing through the branches.
Since the Eagles are sitting, you may want to try lowering the shutter down to 1/1000 from 1/2000. This will reduce your ISO and perhaps reduce the noise a bit.
Even when Eagles fly they are not that erratic and coast a lot. I find 1/1000 to 1/1250 to be as fast as I need to go. I could even get down to 1/600 if my technique was better.

Nice set however!

The air is not going through the mask, it's going around it!

Frankly, it is doing both.
However I think we should have a 6, no 8 page discussion about it!

If your glasses are fogging up, the mask is not sealing properly on your face and that's not good.

They are not intended to be air tight, enclosed environments.
During inhale, the majority of the air comes through the mask.
It is during the exhale, some air leaks up as it is warmer than the surrounding air. This causes the glasses to fog.
Should I sneeze or cough, the liquid is forced to the mask thus stopping it from getting into the environment. This is a huge benefit.
While not perfect, and by the way neither is he cloth mask that is currently recommended by the US CDC, it is way better than nothing.
Unless the mask is a very tight custom fit, it will not be airtight.

One of the downsides of masks is my inability to see peoples' lips when they talk. I guess my hearing isn't what it used to be, and I realize that I rely somewhat on watching lips as people talk. Still, I'd rather be alive and not understand conversation, rather than be dead with excellent hearing.

Another downside is fogged glasses!
I agree however about being alive.
