Oh, I slap the 70-200 with 2X converter on the 40D and my reach is suddenly 640mm.

Good point on the Canon 6D ... my daughter is close to buying the 6D despite my recommendation of the 5D II or III.

I also have the Canon Mark II and have found the 3.5 frames per second to not be an issue with sports photography. My favorite lens is the Canon 70-200 2.8L - the Canon 2X teleconverter gives me the 400mm reach while maintaining auto focus.

I have a 27 inch iMac that has run flawlessly for two years. No pc lock ups and no alt/control/deletes!! Oh, and no viruses!! I use Aperature for photo work - an amazing application!!
