wonderful color, nice textures, love the circular composition. really holds the eye tightly on the blossoms.
nice shot. I prefer your variety of wild Turkey over the bottled variety.
great shots. when the killer first hatch they look like cotton balls on stilts. always gets a smile out of me. thanks!
I believe you have found THE perfect specimen. wonderful lighting and I love the complimentary background. you keep upping the bar for quality, thanks for posting.
Linda it's always a pleasure to see you feedback. it's always concise. easy to understand, and helpful. you make this site a better place. now if I can figure out reply quote I may get better at this posting thing
while I find Linda's comments spot on in general, I must diverge with her on this one. #1is immersive if the frame size is upped to a large size. alot to search and discover. #2 has impressive detail but not alot to hold the eye for an extended period. #3 draws me in and is quite interesting but I seem to run my eyedown and across the bottom and leave the frame before coming back in at the top right and crossing to the left and down again. the clouds really add to the third crop but I look for a feature to keep me in the frame on the right. I really believe the first one in a large format would would work well.
was there many years before the area flooded. it looks like they have fully recovered. it was christmas time and well decorated when we were there. I have a few nice slides or negatives packed away somewhere. nice job shooting at a great location.
exactly right bruce. to take it a step further I have always taken OEM parts to be parts that meet or exceed the manufacturers specification for any given part. third party meant an outside company making parts to fit but not necessarily meet the original manufacturing spec..
very nice, such interesting shadow patterns for penlight painting. the color really popped to. was the penlight a daylight color balanced led or tweaked in post? great job on an experiment I would never have thought of.
Looks alot like the St Louis arch. Nice shot.
A beautiful scene. Honestly by the title I expected to see vintage hippie with micro bus pictures.
The separation of the far part of the scene in yellow glow mid scene in blue haze and the fore ground in more natural light adds much depth. I would imagine that a shot 15 minutes layer would have been a silhouette with a wonderful sky. Great job.
I am thinking the stripe on the tree was caused by the shadow of the pole.it caught my eye right away and was mildly impressed with how straight the tree was growing compared to the pole.
I have been lurking and soaking up inspiration and knowledge as I looked over many many posts. I reply to posts that really strike a chord with me. I must say that all the work Involved in this shot truly amazes me. Wonderful detail throughout. Thanks for starting and moderating this section.
