I am stunned. It was one of my hobbies early on to learn all about the newest digital cameras in depth. Very sad to see this.

That looks like over along the south edge of the golf course? A place I have gone many times when there is good fog.

I looked back through some of my photos to see what focal lengths I used, and most were well within 24-70. If rock formations are of primary interest to you, I recommend the Jumbo Rocks area. To the southeast of the parking are some really good things and they keep going. After looking around the park pretty thoroughly, this is where I came for sunrise and sunset.

I went into the park with a 24-105 and really never felt like I was restricted.

The birds I had been photographing with such enthusiasm for the last several years have become so scarce now, over the last years, that it has become fruitless to keep looking, so I have essentially given "taking photo's" a rest, as I did with producing art work over the years. Also, this year I took a job as a picture framer and have had far less free time. Life changes, but I still keep an eye on what you and some of the others are up to here.
