personally from a pure artistic point of view, I think the presented picture would be greatly enhanced by the removal of a few of the cameras.

I have upgraded 2 of my laptops with no problems. All of my software migrated perfectly. The win 11 upgrade comes with an "assistant" that does all the heavy lifting. I upgraded my Dell (Insperion ??) I7 and my Aspire5 (acer) and in both cases all I did was push a button, The assistant checks your system verifying compatibility and proceeds to upgrade. Two reboots later and all is well in win 11 land. On both machines all my software operates as per normal this includes Adobe CC subscription, I O Bit software (Malware, Uninstaller, Drive updater and Advanced system Care), Liber Office, PDF creator, Chrome and Brave, Canon software including printer and camera (pro 100, 5DSr, ect.)

I have helped neighbors make the upgrade and I do not know of a single problem to date.

I print with a pro 100 and I use precision color "signature series" inks on Canon paper without a fading problem. I spray my prints with Hahnemuhle protective spray ($20 + for 400ml can). Refilling the cl42 cartridges is easy, fast and very economical. I think the key is the Hahnemuhle spray.

Not a Red-tail no belly band, Not a sharpie or a Cooper no brown streaks on the chest to belly. Does appear to have a dark malar stripe (down load would help) and lightly marked chest. If the picture was taken in the Indiana area the chances are a light juvenile Broad-winged Hawk (Buteo platypterus)

All of the above advise is good but why not start with the basic stuff. Print a test page and compare the output with your screen, do they look the same? if not run the diagnostics cleaner apps and try again.

If you fly into SF and drive up you will face the worst part of the drive first. After dealing with the traffic mess between the airport and the Golden Gate bridge you can regain your sanity with a brief stop at Battery State Park. If the weather permits (no fog) Battery is the best safest place to photograph the bridge, the fortifications and Lighthouse that protected the bay in days gone by. Just a few (20-50) miles to the north is Murre Woods (bad spelling) your introduction to the Redwoods and a must visit location. End of Day one, life is good and the best is yet to come.

If looking at new routers look for WiFi 6 compliance. Tri-band, mu'min . Ac and ax are using the 5 gig band, very fast, very wide but most effective in an line of sight environment, N uses the 2.4 gig band for long distance and obstacle avoidance. WiFi 6 supports all previous bands adds smart switching and load management. In the short haul environment WiFi 6 supports gig speeds (great for NAS & SAN). Our cellphones are WiFi default, prior to implementing WiFi 6 when moving from the indoor enviroment to the outdoor enviorment our cellphones dropped their wifi connection and moved to a cellular enviorment. Now the router and the cellphones move from the 5gig band to the 2.4 gig band and back again as required.
Not all manufactures implament WiFi 6 in the same manner, some require hard wiring for the nodes, others reserve one of the 5 gig band for back haul. My Links mesh system reserves a single channel on a 5 gig band for back haul and uses all 3 bands for device connection.

If you are not a pro selling prints what percent of your total keepers do you print?

I print a lot, maybe as high as 10% of my favorites. Photo books, yard art, quirky greetings and display (matted and framed) are just some of the uses for my prints. As an example of fun yard "art" printed on pro 100 and mounted on a palm flower pod, is the "Palm" (hooded) Oriole below. I have found that images displayed in this manner last about 3 years, when you are tired of looking at them they are more than ready for replacement.

Home printing opens up a whole new world of possibilities for your photography, if you are so inclined. Cost and quality are yours to command, what type of paper, color control, size, and so many more variables that reflect purpose and intent of use. How long they last is up to you, matt and mount behind glass for years of enjoyment, or maybe just display for short period with the purpose of replacing them with "next". There are great spray products like " Hahnemuhle" that will protect your images from UV, moisture, dust and most other harmful environmental conditions.

Buy a new one. What you described is the failure of the micro switches on the control board, you should try a new batterie, maybe even clean the batterie contacts with little alcohol, but if as you described normal press on the button does nothing and pounding works then the micro switches are toast.

Using Canon 5d Mark 4, 70 to 200 zoom - 2.8 with Teleconverter 2x Mark 3.

Question: is it possible to add (stack) additionally a 1.4 Mark 3 Teleconverter to the above set up?

Understand this will narrow aperture, but this will be day light shot. Due to very infrequent use, I do not want to buy another telephoto.

Will appreciate advice. Thanks

To stack "TC's" you need a extension tube, they will not fit together without one. I use the EF12, it connects the electrical circuits so auto focus can work (if F8 or less). Extension tubes are great candidates for used purchase as they do not contain glass. I don't remember for sure, I think I got mine from KEH for less than $50.

While most camera owners seem to be aware of firmware updates for camera bodies it seems to me that many are unaware that there are also, from time to time, firmware updates for a number of Canon lenses. Mostly it seems that they address some minor and rarely encountered glitch in the lens operation, but, it doesn't hurt to keep up to date. I just finished updating my EF 100-400 L II and my RF 50mm f/1.2 L. I discovered the lens updates a couple of years ago and now I periodically check to see if new ones are out. The update is done the same way as the camera body update.
For the record, I have always kept my cameras up-to-date and, for the last couple of years, my lenses also with absolutely no negative effects from any of the updates.

I did not know my lens had firmware. Now I do Thank you, just updated my 100 -400.
