I still have an older 8 track tape player that nobody wants anymore. Found it at a garage sale $5.00. Used a pair of headphones to test it out worked great, it became part of my stereo equipment along with a Techniques Cassette Tape Dec, Techniques Turntable with a Shure Cartridge, 2 Fisher Speakers fused, 2 Sony Speakers. Each speaker was rated for 120 Watts per channel so the only thing I did was to blow the crossover boards in the Fisher speakers. A 24 slide EQ helped with the sound a a Pioneer SX1010 receiver. This equipment was purchased when I can home from Nam and to this day I only had to replace a speaker fuse on the Pioneer receiver and the turntable belt. The best part of this is that it is over 50 years old and still works great just like the day I purchased it. They do not make stereo equipment that lasts 50 years without breaking down.

Wish you a speedy recovery and may you be pain free for the rest of you life. I was injured on the job and was classified as 100% disabled which cost me my work Pension. Had all the time in but since I could not work and needed a full more years before I could retire I am now collecting SSDI which turned into SSI and I am on MNsure state insurance so 100% of my is paid but I was forced to sell the house and move into a Senior living apartment. Really miss the house but when you have a hard time walking up and down the stairs we are starting to enjoy our new living arrangement. Just have to pay rent, unities, phone and food. One good thing is that we do not have to pay property taxes on the house and upkeep on the house. Our MNsure pays for our rides to the Dr, Dentist, Drug Store, Grocer Store. All I do is make a call and the next day our ride is here. No automobile and no insurance to worry about and out bus ride only cost is free insurance pays for it. Seems like we are doing better now since the accident that what i was doing when I was working but I still miss my job.

This probably faster than what the USPS ( United States Postal Service) can do today. Takes them 4 days to move a 1st class letter across town with there modern equipment. Maybe they should go back to this way of moving mail!

Check with Wal-Mart, they have 2tb, 4tb external hard drives that you can use in either Windows or Apple OS cheaper than another company around plus you can pick it up at the store and return it to the store if you don't like it or it is defective.

I purchased a camera strap from B&H Photo. This strap has releases that can let you remove the strap when you mount the camera on a tripod.

I also have the Samsung S23 Galaxy Ultra and have taken wonderful nighttime photos without noise. I used the nighttime setting on the phones camera settings or sometimes I just used the auto on the phone. Great photos were taken.

I wanted to know this before the last eclipse and I called Hoya, talked to a service tech and was told that during an eclipse without the eclipse filter and using the ND5 filter the light from the sun will permanently damage the sensor of your digital camera plus damage the lens and if you look directly into the eclipse your Retna will also be damaged.

A filter for the eclipse is a lot cheaper than buying new digital equipment plus losing your eyesight looking at the eclipse is not replaceable.

Just noticed the name of the band, along with the cassette title, the music and the band members are over 30 years old. I have both of them. CDs and on Compact Disk.

Pencil was used to rewind the tape back into the case. You do not see cassette tapes at a record store just like the 8 track tapes. They are both long gone.

Sony does a poor job printing the user manual for the cameras. It must be done by another outside firm Sony gave the contract too. What I would suggest as I am also a Sony user is if you are not sure about a bios setting for the camera "Contact Sony Customer Support" and have them explain in detail your problem or concern about a bios setting or what is the difference between this setting A and this setting B when I take a photo with this camera.

I had an issue with my RX10M4 camera. Did not understand how a certain feature operated and after going thru all the reference books I had for the camera I still did not understand the feature. So I contacted Sony Customer support and talked to a gentleman for over 45 minutes going over certain features on the camera that I did not understand and how they would effect the exposure and how the would effect the taking the photo. It was all about nighttime shooting with different effects on the photo.

Wife was on Walmart website grocery shopping and when she got done went into electronics and they have a Toshiba 40TB external USB drive for under $100.00. This drive works in either Windows or Mac OS. You just have to set the drives bios and then format it to your OS and you are ready to use it.
