He has gold ware at his mansion in Florida, Mar-a-Lago. Also in his home, Seven Springs, Bedford, NY, his Winery in Virginia and his estate at La Chateau des Palmiers in St. Martin.

No. I doubt very much he would steal the silver ware at the White House...that's something Hillary would do. Oh wait.....she already did!

Yeah, the left sucked it up. First they screamed not my president before the inauguration and Maxine Waters and others said they were going to impeach him before he was even president. Then, they spied on him during the transition, then they spent 3 and a half years investigating Russian collusion when the only collusion was between Hillary and the Russians. So, yeah, your side clearly sucked it up and conceded defeat. Give me a break. You personally may have sucked it up, but the left did not. They spent four years trying to destroy Trump using all kinds of illegal and immoral ways to attempt to accomplish that goal.

So, when you are willing to acknowledge that the left never did accept Trump, then maybe we can have a conversation about whether we should accept Biden or not.

Well stated, btbg!!

Not only did the left never suck it up, they're still whining and blathering, as they have been for four+ years.

What interests me is what are they going to harp on if they can't harp on Trump? I guess he just better win so we can give the left something to chew on for the next four years

Murdoch Hours Away From Throwing Donnie Under The Bus Like He Does To Every Loser

ERROL PARKER | Editor-at-large | Contact

Rupert Murdoch is reportedly hours away from deciding Joe Biden will be the next leader of the free world has incumbent Donald Trump loses even more ground in key states.

The South Australia media mogul is the one who ultimately decides who wins what around the world and he’s not in the business of backing horses that don’t win.

As the hours drag on, it’s becoming increasingly clear that Donald Trump is going to lose the election which means Murdoch and him are probably no longer mates.

This is a developing story.

More to come.

Murdoch Hours Away From Throwing Donnie Under The ... (show quote)

Tell Murdoch that this is how it works in the US...not the way HE thinks it should work:

Right now, every county in states who have finished counting ballots are canvassing their results. Not all states are at 100 percent count. Canvassing is a process that can take up to two weeks. This means those counties are making sure that the number of ballots cast matches the number of voters. Each county in every state has until Nov. 17 to canvas, and each state has until Dec. 8 to certify those results. After that, a candidate has 48 hours to demand a recount. That is done by a hand count, meaning no machine scan. That requires one democrat and one republican looking at every single ballot to assign that vote. Once the result is final, the Electoral College meets in each state on Dec. 14, and those votes are then sent to Washington D.C. by Dec. 23. Once the electoral votes are certified by January 6, the new President is inaugurated on Jan. 20.

Interesting but I question the statement about reinfecting yourself. Could you provide the source for this analysis? Also, I have always been curious how the virus reproduces if it is not a living organism. Was that mentioned in the article you read?

Snip:

"There is another danger to wearing these masks on a daily basis, especially if worn for several hours. When a person is infected with a respiratory virus, they will expel some of the virus with each breath. If they are wearing a mask, especially an N95 mask or other tightly fitting mask, they will be constantly rebreathing the viruses, raising the concentration of the virus in the lungs and the nasal passages. We know that people who have the worst reactions to the coronavirus have the highest concentrations of the virus early on. And this leads to the deadly cytokine storm in a selected number.

It gets even more frightening. Newer evidence suggests that in some cases the virus can enter the brain. In most instances it enters the brain by way of the olfactory nerves (smell nerves), which connect directly with the area of the brain dealing with recent memory and memory consolidation. By wearing a mask, the exhaled viruses will not be able to escape and will concentrate in the nasal passages, enter the olfactory nerves and travel into the brain."

This article does not address your question about viruses reproducing. Viruses do "replicate" and mutate. There are lots of articles on how this happens. From googling: "In the lytic cycle, the virus attaches to the host cell and injects its DNA. Using the host's cellular metabolism, the viral DNA begins to replicate and form proteins. Then fully formed viruses assemble. These viruses break, or lyse, the cell and spread to other cells to continue the cycle."

Very thought provoking! Regarding the first item in your post about wearing masks...here are some thoughts on why some people may not want to wear masks:

We are told that wearing a mask is a courtesy to others, so if you are infected you won't pass it on to others. So, lets take a look at your mask. It is actually like a sieve. The virus is small enough to slip through the micro gaps in the material of your mask - even the best of masks - and inhaled in to your lungs. Particles that circulate around the outside of your mask that is not sealed to the skin on your face are also inhaled. If you are infected with a virus (any virus), this is what will happen to you when you wear your mask: Your mask stops a lot of the virus as you exhale. That means the virus particles are clinging to the inside of your mask. The virus attacking you is not just one little particle - it is thousands of them accumulating and reproducing in your upper nasal passages and upper throat. Every time you breathe out you end up with more and more virus particles on the inside of your mask. Therefore, when you breathe back in you are infecting yourself over and over, resulting in a far more severe illness than if you just inhaled the virus once from another person.

If politicians are not wearing masks, maybe this is one of the reasons why. Should we be adhering to their mandates that we MUST wear masks, when they, themselves are not?

If the parties were reversed, if we had a Dem Senate and a Dem POTUS facing significant risk of losing the election...the Dems would ram through a pick in record time, regardless of any oaths they stated four years ago.

They are all worms.

This is what we elect.

All I was stating was what has been the precedent.

It's amazing to me that Dems think things should be done differently this year, as opposed to the past 140 years, just because the President is Donald Trump. The only problem there is that Trump won't back down - no matter how much the Dems riot, loot, burn and otherwise throw their tantrums.

Mitch, who once loudly proclaimed that a SCOTUS seat must not be considered a year from the election, will sell his soul to get one approved less than fifty days from the election.

The President and the Senate are controlled by the same party. The last time that a Supreme Court Justice was confirmed when that was not the case was back around 1880. So this would be in keeping with 140 years of precedence.

There is precedent for confirming a U.S. Supreme Court judge in a short period of time. John Paul Stevens was confirmed in 19 days. Sandra Day O’Connor was confirmed in 33 days. Justice Ginsburg was confirmed in 42 days. So that gives you an idea that even though it typically takes about 60 days to confirm a justice, there is precedent for doing it in a shorter period of time.

And Trump will be President until at least January, 2021.
