When Stan and I were in Minnesota I only saw the bald eagle sitting in trees and on the ground. We were in canoes, my problem was that I wasn't allowed by the husband to bring my good Camera. I've flipped from the Nikon to an Olympus omd m1 Mark II. My question is is there insurance for camera's due to loss ?

have any of you gone to the Cumberland waterfall? I have visited (and tried to photograph) 3X the Night Rainbow there on the Full Moon with No success. What type lens would you use for that. I have a Nikon d60 with the Nikkor dx AFS18-55 mm 3.5-5.6G. Will that shoot the rainbow or do I need to buy a totally different lens? I do use a tripod and I set the camera on Manual & Bulb but i still haven't gotten the Rainbow. Has anyone on here attempted this???

Nice shot, I am green with envy. I want to find a camera that has the panorama program already on the camera. Until then, I will be attempting more with my d60 Nikon.

thank you for your help; I'm not convinced on this camera yet. I currently have a Nikon d60, I have made a couple of shots in panorama. I just want something that will handle it in-camera instead of having to "piece" it together.

does anyone have any thoughts on Fuji compacts? I am very interested in panorama pictures. I use elements 8 - but, it is sometimes quite complex on trying to piece together pictures. I would love to buy an ultrawide lens for my nikon d60, but $$$. So, I have almost swayed to fuji with the panoramic feature. any suggestions???

I live in a small town in southeast Alabama - on a small farm & I spend much of my time just watching & looking at nature for new pictures to take. It keeps me open to ever-changing life. My husband & I have traveled to Cumberland Falls & have been touched at such beauty. Newark, OH to a little known (?) waterfall there where Boyscouts meet & camp. Another waterfall located in OH, Brandywine Falls

I'm not a pro., but my best suggestion is to read what you can & just practice, practice, practice.
