This is the first time I have seen a Cormorant in Waikiki..he was circling Ala Moana Beach Park and then would dive into the water and up again and repeat the same thing over and over again .. I had my D7200 with a 200-500mm 5.6 fixed mounted .. and proceeded to shoot the scene ...hand holding with the setting between 1000mm and 600mm in camera crop ..

On a cold December night I put my older model 24-70 2.8 on a tripod and attached a Nikon 200-500 5.6 .. it was an ultra clear night …

A week ago there was the annual “Toys For Tots” Waikiki Christmas Biker Parade .. I was equipped with a Samsung Ultra 22 and took 100 photos .., all were destined for textured canvas for the individual bikers with a distinctive artful look ..
