The reserve is "photogenic". There are the "best" times of day
to shoot it, however you can go there pretty much any time
and any weather and it seems to always give a satisfactory result.
It's a pretty easy place to photograph.
I'm only 3 doors East of the reserve so it's convenient too.
I ride through it a couple of times a week on my pushbike...
a 5km short cut to the shops to get bread and milk.
Occasionally I get up on the roof of my sunroom and shoot
the reserve from there... see below :-)

I saw mostly politically opinionated stupidity beyond disturbing. I thought it is shocking that people that should be mature, intelligent and open minded aware of realities in our world and country posting the stupidity and they vote and they breed !
