Is teleconverter available?
Read an article here on the "Hog" by Gene51 several months ago regarding external backups, I bought an HGST Ultrastar, 3tb 3.5" Internal Hard Drive refurbished for $59, Wavelink aluminum enclosure $22, from Amazon. This is a plug & play solution, works great. Total cost $81! Works so good, I ordered a second one. I concur with Gene51, I think this is a more robust solution and you won't break the bank.
Have a K50 that I have been using for a couple of years, I really like this camera along with the Sigma 17-70mm lens. For ease of use and Simplicity you just can't beat a Pentax!
If your budget will allow, the Nikon ED 200mm AF Micro is super sharp, used $850, new $1800. I have the Nikon 105mm AF micro 1:2.8D that I purchased off ebay $260.00 that I like also. The older Nikon 200mm Micro is a manual focus lens can be had for $200/250. I have all three and use on a Nikon D810, like them all, but the Nikon 200mm AF ED Micro is without a doubt the best of the three. Read Ken Rockwell's review of all three.
Happy Shopping!
For Astrophotography, look @ the Rokinon 14mm f/28, this is a manual focus, available from B&H or Amazon for $379.00. Go to LonelySpeck.com and read Ian Norman's article on "How to shoot the Milkyway", and what equipment to use! Great info for someone starting out in Astrophotography! Enjoy your new Camera!
