I have a d750 that I absolutely love, and have no plans to get a newer camera. I bought it used in 2018, and still do not see any reason to get something newer. There was a well respected member of UHH, DOOK, who has since passed away, who suggested I get the d750 instead of a d810. He had a d810 but preferred the d750. He told me why he thought the d750 was a better camera and gave me good reasons. Never mind I can't remember the reasons, but it still takes outstanding photos - any problems or lousy pictures are only my fault.( )

I was upgrading from a d7100, and have never looked back because I prefer the full frame format.

I'm so sorry this has happened, and I understand the reason you won't get anymore. I feel the same way. These are beautiful pictures of him; what a sweet soul!

Beautiful shots of everyone. I especially love the different matching sets of PJs. What a great idea!

More stunning shots, Dianne! It's a delight to see into your neck of the woods and how absolutely beautiful it is.

They are all beautiful, Dianne. It's hard to pick a favorite in this batch. I like them all!

More stunning photos! I really like them all, but if I had to choose a favorite, it would be two shots. They are the second shot and the last one. I just love the second one for that particular composition in relation to the subject matter, and the last shot because it speaks to me of warmth and quiet, and of serenity. A perfect day.

They're stunning, Dianne! I like them all. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be impossible. You nailed them all.

Looking to buy a new camera, can't decide between bridge or compact. Looking for a good zoom lens, not too complicated to use, not fussed about wifi or touchscreen just one that takes great shots. Budget is up to £800.
Already have a Canon 4000D DSLR and a Panasonic Lumix TZ70 that I have had for ages and loved the picture quality and zoom but is now starting to have problems so wanting one to upgrade from this that I don't have to faff about changing lenses but gives me all theup to date features of a great camera. Most of the time my DSLR is gathering dust as it's too bulky to carry everything around.

When I took my trip to Australia, I took my Panasonic Lumix FZ1000, which is lightweight and takes outstanding pictures, IMO. (I now have the FZ1000 II, but this picture was taken with my original FZ1000.) In case you don't know, there are excellent how-to videos on YouTube on the operation of the camera which is easy to begin with, but you can learn tips and tricks too such as how to take macros. I find I use this camera more than my Nikon D750 and my other cameras. This picture of the Freshie is straight out of the camera without any processing, taken from a slow moving boat. This was in the Katherine Gorge south of Darwin. It is a bit soft considering the movement of the boat, but I was pleased that it processed well into a sharper picture, cropped and sharpened. I find this camera to be my go-to camera.

I do not have just one working camera. I have four, but my favorite is my Nikon D750 with which I shoot flowers using effects lenses such as Lensbabies. I have a modern version of a Daguerre lens that is a lot of fun since I can get interesting effects with it too. For travel, my go-to camera is my Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 II, perfect for when traveling and weight is a big consideration. It's easy to use, and takes excellent images, from close-ups to landscapes.

Quite a collection. Wonder who the three star was.

You were seeing General Douglas MacArthur. His is the only face I recognize in that picture.

I like them all, but especially the ones with the fish and when he spreads his wings.
