It would be great to spend a day there. I love old, abandoned buildings and that type of thing.
Me too! I think when it comes to finding abandoned buildings and spots like Johnny did, it'd be hard for me to tell the location. I am selfish when it comes to spending quite a bit of time trying to find a location to shoot.
I'm still trying to figure out the site, but I wanted to thank you all for the warm welcome! Photography has completely changed my perception of life. Photography has made me look at everything with a new set of eyes. I just found out that I have been given the opportunity to be a featured artist next year at one of the local coffee shops here in town. The shop will showcase my images for sale of which I will be able to keep 90% of the proceeds. All of the profits I make I am donating to my volunteering efforts. I also have been chosen for my photography to be showcased in an entire issue of The Amplifier. The Amplifier is our local street paper that the homeless sell to make a profit to go towards their necessities. I am over the moon tonight!
Thanks! I was going for a very over saturated image with him.
Thank you very much! 📷❤️
My name is Amy. Diehard photographer willing to do whatever it takes to get the shot! Always chasing the light. I volunteer with the homeless community in Knoxville, TN. I'm passionate about volunteering to help those less fortunate as well as photography. My favorite types of shooting are portaiture filled with emotion and street photography. I aim to tell stories through my images. I started this hobby a year and a half ago and have met some wonderful people that inspire me to become better with each click. If I ever post photos for feedback, I'd rather have brutally honest comments so I can get better at the craft. I'm excited to be a part of this forum and can't wait to see what all the group has to offer!
