Las Vegas I have that same pic. Beautiful!
Tucumcari, NM at dusk under neon of Blue Swallow Motel signage while on an epic Route 66 trip! What year is that Ponitac?
On a sad note, a lot of the old Route 66 history is being lost as the old motels, dinners, and attractions are rotting away.
I bought the first one from the local camera store when they first came out. I use it on Canon 3Ti. It's good for wildlife. It's heavy! You need a mono-pod at least to not have to support the weight while waiting for photo ops. Good bang for the buck.
Took out the big Tamron 150-600. Rio Vista Natural Park in Tucson, AZ early Saturday morning. The male was really busy keeping other birds away from the nest in a large mesquite tree. The female is really hard to pick out if she isn't moving.
I like this lense but even on a mono-pod it is a commitment to take it with you because of the weight.

 Yes, went to one here in Tucson. It was good. Played with 150-600 tamron in the parking lot of photo store. I ended up buying one after that. Good seminars by pros and free lunch. Free little give aways too. Learned about
http://www.roguesafari.com/ and ended up buying pop up flash booster. I thought it was worth while. Crowd was definitely skewed towards seasoned citizens- tends to be a Tucson thing in general.
