Unfortunately I may have to take it in for repair. It is 7 years old and may be time for another camera
the release button is stuck in the down position. I tried pulling it up without success.
Thank you for your reply and that is exactly what I did. I will remove it when not in use from now on. I did not see any bent prongs so this will be my eject system from now on.

It has been in the camera for several years now. It is in the correct directions. The little button on the side is in the "down" position and not able to push it out as originally designed.
It will move back and forth, slightly, and I'm cautious about pulling it out with a needle nose pliers. Do you think it will damage anything else?
I have an old Cannon Rebel XTi and the SanDisk will not extract. How do I get it out without hurting the camera?
