For a moment I thought someone took my guys...I have a mini-donkey and a horse that get along famously. Cute pair!
Imaginist, what a shame, asphalt just can't compare to green pastures. I think it was Winston Churchill who said that phrase, something about the outside of a horse.......
in any case, absolutely true. Beautiful creatures. I don't know anyone that doesn't like to look at them.
Guess that's why I have 4 of them, lol They bring much beauty to my life.
Another lover of horse smells...........something zen about cleaning stalls too.....the non-horseperson just doesn't understand, lol
nice pics!
Thank you to the OP for sharing that letter. We would all be better off if we quit arguing politics and start caring about each other. This country is being so torn apart by money and politics people need to stick together more now than ever, honor those who fought for our freedom, remember the principles upon which this country was founded. We are losing more freedom everyday and cannot see the forest for the trees.
I am so very sorry. I feel your pain. I have said goodbye to two of my beloved friends by making the decision. It is the most difficult time. I agree with others who say, they will tell you. Some say a day early is better than a day late. Unfortunately I understand that statement also.
Plan your special time with Austin, thank him for all the wonderful years you had together, and let him know he will be going to wait for you while being pain free and happy. I believe all animals go to heaven. He will be waiting for you. In the meantime cherish the memories, and know he will be with you in spirit. God Bless. ((((hugs)))
Just watched more video of Ross riding, didn't realize the one you posted was an older one. Wow, the kid can ride! Love it!
Oh how I enjoyed that video! That child is going to be some rider.(or should I say, he is already) Love the smile on his face when pony is being bratty. Thanks for sharing.
Must pass along to my riding friends.
I think great pictures of adoptable animals is one of the best tools for gaining interest. Yours are super. Keep up the good work using your talent to help shelters.
Aww, that was such a very nice thing to do!
Thanks Shadows, with a crop that will be a usable image.
A good friend of mine has tried her hand at hand painting an ornament. I think it turned out very nice. She hasn't painted in many years and reluctantly agreed to try it for me. I think it is rather good. I admire anyone with artistic talent as I have none.
Thank you everyone that responded thus far. Some of them are definitely better looking. As for the crop, yes, I am going to use some cropping. Left them the way they are to see what others would do. I have limited experience playing around in PS Elements 6. Haven't figured a way to totally remove / blend shadows. Not certain that it can actually be done.
Would like to do a canvas wrap maybe, not sure the "pixels?" are there to do anything large.
Hi,
I know everyone is hustling around for Christmas, but thought I would ask if anyone could improve some of these snapshots that were taken a few years ago. My dad just lost his dog on Thanksgiving. Very sad, She was his everything. We are trying to get some last minute gifts made with photos for him. After searching for a week I finally located the pictures I had in mind.
I have seen so many talented displays of art on this forum, I am hoping someone might be able to do something with these photos in the way of shadows, which is the thing that is bothering me the most. Anybody who wants to take a shot at it in any way you think they would be better, please have at it.
Hi all,
Really enjoying this site, never posted before, but could not resist posting the shot I caught yesterday of kitty,
Mr. Meowgy. I have much to learn, I am a newbie, but hope this brings a smile.
Merry Christmas!
Hello everyone, haven't posted before, but nothing like a pet thread to bring me out of lurkdom!
This is my boy, Teddy.
