I'm fairly certain their user agreement will state that speeds are "up to xxx" and are not guaranteed, although it should be closer than what you have. Xfinity recommends periodic rebooting of your modem/router. It never hurts.

This past several months my Comcast internet has been intermittently slow. I can appreciate that more people are using it and the band width is congested...but I'm paying for fast internet at up to 100 MBPS and getting these result.

Is anyone else having similar problems?

Wonder if AT&T is having the same problem...perhaps its time to shop around.

The square drive is Robertson. As Jerry said they're popular in Canada and also in the US in the cabinet and RV industry. They work quite well. I follow a YouTuber that does home repair and renovation and he frequently complains when he comes across a Phillips screw. He loves the Robertson square headed fasteners.

This should be split between those whose hits were powered by performance enhancing drugs and players like The Babe, whose homers were powered by hotdogs and beer!

There often are templates in productivity software like MS Word. Here's a link to some templates for Apache Open Office. Open Office is a free office productivity suite that reads and writes MS Office documents.

I'I have seen this, too, but I can appreciate the increase of business Amazon and others who provide an online shopping experience are seeing. I've had orders with an extended shipping date and I've also had something that wasn't pandemic related (sewer hose for my RV) arrive in 3 days. I can't really comprehend what's involved in managing Amazon's warehousing and shipping system that uses multiple shipping services.

As for the lost TV that had to go less than 100 miles: is Amazon to blame or the carrier?

It seems patience is a virtue best learned during a pandemic!

I had to bring an item to the UPS store for return to Amazon. The workers at the store got a plastic bag, held it at arm's length, and had me drop the item in it. They wouldn't touch it. They scanned the code on my phone, also at arm's length. They preferred not to give a printed receipt. The process didn't feel too dangerous. It's been a couple of weeks so I guess I'm safe from that encounter.

Zoom seems to work on everything. It seems a large number of universities and houses of worship are using Zoom. The university where I work are using a million minutes of Zoom a day and very few issues or support calls. I realize you want details on family use, but this is a good indicator of the simplicity.

You'll hear a lot about Zoom security but the reality is that the wider the use of a program the bigger target it is for bad guys. Most other similar programs likely have the same issues. Be sure to use a password on meetings. It can be embedded in the link that is provided in the meeting invitation so users never have to type it.

You'd need special tools if you use crimp bands on the PEX, however you can buy GatorBite type fittings. You just cut the tube and slide it on the connector. The connectors are not cheap but if you're only making a few connections it fast, easy, and almost mistake proof as long as you measure properly and make sure the tube is inserted far enough in the fitting.

Since nature has a "water cycle" all the water on the planet has always been here, recycling at its finest. On the other hand all of this water has likely been through someone's bladder.

That's exactly what it is. You have an edge-lite display, as opposed to a back lit model. Sounds like a lot of unhappy Samsung owners. My 43" is about 5 years old and is still doing fine.

"Bed tax" is a common name for a tourism tax on lodging. Likely the two taxes are from different taxing authorities. Here in Virginia we have 2 taxes on prepared meals such has carry out food and restaurants. One is state and one is city/county.

Thumbs up for GoodRX. My wife accidentally threw away her blood pressure meds. (She set it aside to bring it to the doctor's office and oops! it's gone). A 30 day supply was $88. Insurance wouldn't pay because she they already paid for a refill. The pharmacist turned me on to GoodRX and 2 minutes later I was walking out the door after paying $17. No need to create an account with GoodRX. They don't collect any personal information.

Springsteen's Blinded by the light contains the line "cut loose like a deuce", a reference to playing cards (deuces, or the 2 card). Manfred Mann, who had a hit with the song, purposely mangles it so it's hard to understand.
