You are correct, I remember showing showing how a film camera should be held for that steady photo.. It was a much bigger thing back then than now but still important.
I also use flash outside with fill, is there another way. You can add shadow and eliminate the same.
For many years now I have used the small Dri-Pks in all of my equipment bags. They can be purchased very cheap on-line, I think I bought 500 on ebay so cheap compared to the cost it may be to clean up the mold...I shoot professionally and there is no way I would be without them. I also keep larger bags in the studio and toss them around my backdrops that are not hanging. You will find many other uses for them.

Give them what sells. Why play a photo god. You are in this to make money so go where the money is. Yes, I am picky on some of my stuff but if she wants and likes the contrast y stuff, give it to her. Show 10 people your work and probably get 9 answers saying what would make them better. Opinions are like rear-ends, we all have one. Been selling prints for over 30 years and if a dealer wants them with a bit more contrast, do it, people shots...do it, landscapes.....do it

I agree, the sphere lets light go 360 degrees. I have been doing some experimenting with the Mag Mod system. You may want to check it out and see if it would give you a lot more light than Fong system.
I use to do that when I had a lab & studio. I used a 4x5 for the shots..plus several lens. They were high quality and sold a lot of them. Having a commercial lab made a big difference.
The last car reminds me of a Hudson Wasp (1949) I had . Had a lot of custom work done on it but sure brings back memories.
The 60-D is not one you push the ISO high on. Dont think I ever went over 1000 for anything. Now into
the Mark IV no problem. I admit however, another good one is 7d ll that I sometimes shoot sports higher and does a good job. Hard to beat my 5d iv...well worth the $$
