Keep in touch. Don’t be a stranger. Visit on occasion. Please explain the reference to “snapping turtles.” Take care of you and the family.

An alligator snapping turtle was found in a tarn in Cumbria (English Lake District). I don’t think they’re photographic ‘snappers’, but apparently they can crush bone. Google ‘snapping turtle Cumbria’ to get the story.

Thanks. I’m in the middle of selling our house and buying a new one, probably in Sebastopol CA.

Time is a rare commodity until we’re settled in a new place.

But, I plan to be back. I’m not much of a social media person, but UHH is one of the few I enjoy.

Take care, and avoid the snapping turtles!

I understand the sentimental value aspect. I had one of the first AE-1s to be sold in the UK back in 1976. It got stolen in 2000 so I bought a used one. I still have it and periodically fire the shutter to keep it working.

Rarely I will run some film through it, same as with my T90. I have a very small collection of old cameras just for fun. All my old Canon lenses (FL/FD) get used on my digital bodies.

They’re like old friends and relatives, to be cherished, not abandoned.

the best thing to do is to know your photographer..a good photographer will talk to you and relax you and be able to get the shots you want..good luck

Find a photographer you know and trust and have him or her shoot some nudes of you. Then put your clothes back on and shoot some more.

Then if you want to avoid any risk of the nudes escaping into the wild watch as they are deleted from the camera immediately after the shoot.

By then you should be sufficiently relaxed. 😈

My wife and I have a pair of complementary mugs, my wife’s one says:
“Keep calm and read on”
Mine says:
“I can’t keep calm I’m a redhead”
It’s not as red as it used to be, but at least I have hair!🧔‍♂️

Chap her ass, is ass one of the no-no words here on the hog? But it be ok to show her lush large darer, bottom, back end, rear, posterior, booty? It is not just men that use that sort of phrases, them girls do call their back sides many things. My favorite is when THEY refer to their boobage as "The Girls", the best! Psssss, this is NOT a doctor's office.

My wife and I have a friend who is very well endowed and is known as “Edie and the two bald men.”

Shame Texas is so far away!

It’s a very nice image, and nice work, but it has an unreal or surreal quality about it that makes me struggle to think of it as a photograph.

Perhaps that’s just my personal bias, what do others think?

Wow! you first post in at least a couple of years. Nice to see your post again.

Thank you, it’s good to be back. I’ve been a little tied up with health and domestic stuff, but there is some interesting looking light at the end of the tunnel.

I have cataract surgery coming up and that will get me back to driving again. So I’ve been getting all my gear ready and will use some photography trips to get out and about again.

I’m really looking forward to that.😀😺

If buying for Canon Cameras is it Canon, Tamron or other?

I have a couple others: Tamron, Vivitar (Rokinon), and they are good lenses, but I’m replacing them with Canon steadily.

I have a T3i and 80D, and also a T90 for film. With adapters I can cover both media types with a range of lenses from fisheye to 500mm, plus I have 1.4x and 2x converters.

I feel happy being a Canon purist, and can use both media types on a single shoot.

Fellow hogs are clearly not “most viewers”. UHH member viewers are more comparable to a bunch of dermatologists at a stripper joint.

I’m not a dermatologist, clearly I need to do some more research 😈

What a wonder group of people you hoggers are! I have a trekking pole/monopod but it sounds like I will bring my tripod too. I have a light that I can put on a headband, but I will bring an extra flashlight too. It is a self guided cave so I can take my time. It is a six mile hike. I can take my time and use flash. I need to bring a jacket too, a towel and maybe a rain poncho!

Keep an eye on the weather. Flash floods occur and can be lethal, they happen very suddenly when they occur. Depending on the cave and its conditions, do you have a wet suit?

And don’t forget spare batteries!
