Looking to finish my holy trinity collection of the older D lenses by getting the 20-35. Why the older ones? Well, the new ones are to darn expensive! Maybe someday when I start making money doing this, but for now, the older professional lenses are perfectly good!

Does the 300mm F/4 have all the 39mm internal filter. I see the holder..but the description does not say the filter is still there. Also, does it have the original case? Thanks...I am interested.

It is the non-"D" version. I have the 35-70 F2.8D.....great lens. The "D" gets you the distance information back to the camera to better utilize 3D Matrix Metering and flash power. Other than that, it is identical....it would be a great lens!
