I've owned this bag for some time now (maybe 4 or 5 years). I use the bag several (2 to 3 times a month) times a month to shoot events at our clubhouse. So it is not that the bag is heavily used, but it just doesn't sit on the shelf either. With that said, the handles don't hold up that well. I've been having trouble with mine retracting. My next step is to try spraying the handle and the push button with silicone spray in hopes that will help. I wouldn't spend much money on a new handle as they don't hold up with what I call little to moderate use. It's a great bag, but I've had my issues over the years using it. Good Luck

Hi, you Can go to Maui, you just can't go to Lahaina. Maui, like the rest of Hawaii, relies on Tourism, so the rest of Maui is relying on visitors continuing to visit their island to keep their economy afloat. Not sure of the details of why your trip was cancelled, but please don't listen to the knee-jerk first reactions that you saw or heard the first couple days after the wildfires from the likes of the mainstream media, the Governor, Maui mayor or Jason Momoa among others. The rest of the island needs to earn a living, and to be able to help their family members that were affected. Mahalo
Hi, you Can go to Maui, you just can't go to Lahai... (show quote)

Sadly, our reservation is on the west side of Maui at the Westin Timeshares...they have indicated that our reservation is being canceled due to the fire. We looked at other properties but they didn't seem to work for us.

We've been in touch with folks who live on the west side of Maui. They have power back, no phones yet, flaky at best internet and cell service. You cannot go to Maui for non-essential business, thus they canceled our trip, but that is small potatoes compared to the devastation and loss the Maui residents are suffering. Keep the hope that all is well.

I'm not familiar with this area at all...however, with that said....I've used a site called "https://www.shothotspot.com/". Once you open the site there will be a search bar. If you type in the city and/or area, anywhere in the world, it might give you some hints to find what you are looking for. I've used it in cities I am not familiar with and found it helpful to find the best places to shoot sunsets, landscapes, business areas, etc. You can give this site a shot to see if it comes back with answers to what you are looking to take photographs of. Good luck and have fun on your cruise. I look forward to seeing photos of your trip.

I was an exclusive user of Shutterfly until they shut down their "share" website. I share most of my photos which are from events here in my 55 and older community. A link gets put on the community-owned website which any resident can access. Once they click the link it takes them to the Zonrama site and bingo....they are viewing photos from the event. I needed something easy to access and easy to use. I searched around and found a site called "Zonerama". Each album gets its own unique link. So you can have protected and unprotected albums on the site. If you type in "Zonerama.com" in your search bar the site comes up. It is totally free with unlimited storage. Once others access the album, they can easily download one or all of the photos from that album from Zonerama. Don't hesitate to contact me if you should have any questions.

Sorry to hear this disturbing news. Here in California, we have a State Insurance Commissioner. Most insurance companies react very differently when contacted or threat of being contacted by the Insurance Commissioner. The Commissioner controls whether a company will do business in California among other duties. Years ago I had an issue with an insurance company. When I called them to try and resolve it myself they were aloof and really couldn't care and I was getting nowhere. Then, nearly the end of my conversation getting nowhere I said...well you leave me no choice but to file a claim with the States Insurance Commissioner's office. Boy did their tune change in a heartbeat. Almost immediately I was treated much differently and imagine that I was able to resolve with that phone call. I don't know if where you live they such a State Department but it would be worth looking into. Good Luck and I hope you resolve this soon.

This is a great capture. You'll almost always see a 55 or 56 Chevy at a car show or sometimes you'll see them on the highway. Rarely do you see a station wagon anywhere. Although station wagons were plentiful when I/we were growing up in the 50s, you rarely see them restored or even on the streets. If my poor memory is correct the Bel-Air was the top of the line back in the day. Thanks for sharing this image...I enjoyed seeing this car.

We've been on the inside passage of an Alaskan cruise twice and I would do it again if the opportunity comes about. Without a doubt, take your gear. I'd take a tripod if you have a cabin with a balcony. When cruising the inside passage you are pretty close to the shoreline, so there are lots of things to shoot from the ship. In addition, when cruising to view the glacier, you definitely want your gear. Some of the most spectacular scenery you'll see in your lifetime. The inside passage is like cruising on a calm lake. So shooting from the ship is easy. In my humble opinion, save your nickels and dimes and go on as many shore excursions as you can, or at least the ones that might interest you. Have a fun safe trip. I look forward to seeing your photos.

I found a site that allows unlimited storage of photos and videos. I don't do many videos, so I'm not sure if there is a limit on videos, but the photos I know are unlimited. The site is called Zonerama.com. They have a free version which suits my needs, and a paid version that at this point I don't think I need. I just found this site as an alternative to Shutterfly as they are shutting down their "Shared" portion of their website at the end of the month. I share photos regularly of events in my community via our community website. I send a link generated by Zonerama to the IT department that handles our website, and they post the link for all in the community to view. In addition, I will send the same link to the "talent" so they can view the photos that I've taken. You can set it up where they can download photos or make it so they can't...lots of features I'm still learning as I've only used this site for about a month. Good luck.

I too am/was a Shutterfly Shared Site user. Yes, you can still store unlimited photos on Shutterfly, but their "Shared" portion of the site will be shut down in March as stated. The downside of Shutterfly's remaining portion they are keeping open, you must have a Shutterfly account to view someone's photos. That doesn't work for me most of my photos are from events taken in my 55 yr. and older community and shared on the community website via a link. Lots of technically challenged people live here so things have to click and go. I found a site called "Zonerama.com". They allow unlimited storage of photos. I've only been using the site for a week now, and I've only put up two albums, but it seems to be working for my needs. The best part is it is free. I encourage you to check it out and give some feedback. I'm going to keep tabs on this thread as this may be a temporary site for me if someone comes up with another sharing site. Good luck to all and keep us posted on your findings, Lane

I'm more of a hobbyist shooter than a pro. I live in a 55 yr and older community and I shoot most of the events we have here. As a result of Shutterfly shutting down their "Shared" site, I too was in search of a new way to display my photos to the community. I discovered a website yesterday called "Zonerama". It's free with unlimited storage of photos and videos. I uploaded one album to this new site and waiting for feedback from my community if any issues arise. If you're just looking to share photos and videos, you might want to check them out. Good Luck with your search.

As everyone has already said that looks amazing and the photos were great too. I'm curious as to what temperature you set/maintained in your smoker. What type of smoker (brand) do you have? How long was the cooking time? And lastly, did the skin get crispy?
