1&2 awesome! I never understand why people change images without asking or being asked.

What am I thinking??? Having never done it that is why I posted the question, don't respond like I am a dumb ass. Having this forum to ask these kind of questions are what is good about it, don't discourage people from asking.

What are you thinking? Definitely a model release and a parent present during shooting.
You definitely do not want a "He said - She said" situation arising from this shoot and you with no clear position.

Does anyone from Texas know what is required or should be required by me to photograph a model under 18. an escort for sure but should a parent sign a release?

You won't be sorry that you chose him as I have used him on a couple of issues with both of my Nikon D200 units and he is quick, certified and very reasonable. I can all but guarantee you will be happy as 100% of those I have talked to that had him do repair work have been satisfied!!

Where did you send it, how much was it to fix it, and how long did it take? I have a D300 and have thought about sending it in just to be checked out and cleaned.

Thank you guys for the comments. I think I took 4 of the shovellers and got 3 pretty good ones but I must have taken 40 of the others and these were the best.

Nice shots ! You're right - they are notoriously hard to get sharp...and a shy species too , won't allow one up close.Well done ! Beautiful Shovellers too.

Thank you. I didnt' get to go to the museum, went to Park City instead, nice town but wish I had gone somewhere else.

Great images. We visited the lake a few years ago and I decided to take a swim. Not one of my better ideas. The ranch on the island was fun to visit. There is a nice memorial to those military men who lost their lives in a training accident near the island. If you visiting the area don't miss the Hill Air Force Base Air museum.

Sorry, I didn't know. The mallards in Texas don't have bills like that, sorry again. Thanks for taking a look.

Your first two images are not ducks, but grebes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grebe

Your third image is female Mallard ducks.

I have never seen these little ducks with orange eyes but they are hard to shoot and get in focus, or at least I had a hard time.
