Clouds, rain, more clouds and rain. And the rain drops came down too fast to count.
Canon refurbished is the way to go. I just got a Canon G9X last week from their Halloween special and love it. If it was used, it was handled by ghosts. Last year, I got the 100-400mm L II zoom. Also refurbished for $1499 and again, ghosts. they both came with a one year warranty but no white box. As others have said, you can trust their refurbished equipment completely.
Try that in midtown Manhattan!
Is that a crack on Pelosi?
I meant to say the warranty is for 5 years so check your owners manual.
Hello Lee, the beeping could be from the side vehicle detection alert. And yes, a car doctor is needed to plug in a scan tool to diagnose the air bag alert. You'll need someone with an expensive scan tool to figure it out as the cheaper ones can't read SRS (supplemental restraint system) codes. Some of the better shops have the tools or else it's the dealer. On some GM vehicles the air bags for 5 years so you may luck out. Good luck!
In NYC back when I was a kid, there was a song we sang on Saturday mornings. "It's Howdy Doody time, it's not worth a dime. So switch to Channel nine and watch Frankenstein."
Back in the vinyl days, I had a chance to hear a copy of the band FM recorded on a direct to disc LP. Big WOW! I think it was from Mobile fidelity sound labs from Memphis, Tenn. Those discs cost around fifteen bucks back in the seventies and were well worth it. I ended up with a bunch of them and when some of those came out on CD, the sound was not the same. The music was recorded to a master disc, not tape. As I sold off all my stereo equipment as my four kids hit school, I'm stuck now with what's on my computer but, my records are still in my attic. Maybe I'll start spending some money on a new system and not so much on camera stuff...
Another great Beatles cover band is 1964 The Tribute. I saw them about ten years ago at my kids college and I was spellbound to say the least! Here's their website:

Too much fiber in one's diet will cause 'clumping'...
I was born September 1952. My son was born September 1982. Ten years later, I was 40 and my son was 10. I was 4 times older than him. Five years later, I was 45 and he was 15. I'm now only 3 times older than him. 2010 I turned 60 and he turned 30. Now I'm only twice as old as him. How long before we're the same age?
I love Abbot and Costello math!
And her generation will be out of a job...
I thought he was selling a drill...
As a now retired mechanic, I have about $50,000 in tools and equipment in my garage and basement. After 48 years of turning wrenches, you accumulate a ton (literary) of stuff.
Cameras, lenses, filters, flashes, tripods and other stuff over the past 40 years amounts to about $20,000. I sold almost all my film stuff years ago after going digital and considered that a learning experience. I bought my present tool boxes 18 years ago for $ 7,800. That was a necessity as I outgrew the boxes I bought 45 years ago.
Tools you work with are what pays the bills for your life, family, home, vehicles and hobbies. I've been blessed with all of these and never looked back. I'll be lucky if I sell all the tools for $20,000 and buy a bigger boat or a new Canon EOS-1 whatever comes next along with the biggest L lens that allows me to see into the future.
As for Chris T, how does someone who signed on here 5 days ago post 417 messages in such a short time? I guess he has a lot to say...
