Great lens. I would want more money for mine, if I wanted to sell it.

Police did not kill George. George killed George. Fentanyl killed George it is the number one killer of adults between 18 and 45. Proof there were large amounts in his body was in the coroner report. When they pulled him over he was afraid to be found with the drug so he probally ingested it. He knew he was going to die, if you listened to the video, he was calling out to mama and to Resse saying he loved them because he knew he was going to die because of OD, not because the police were handling him. He was saying he could not breath before they put him into the car. According to the CDC "Fentanyl can produce delayed reduced respiratory function (respiratory depression) and respiratory arrest."

I know some people that did two tests for 8 minutes. One where one put a knee on the neck and back where the person could lift his head of the ground which George could do.
Then they did another 8 minute test where the person could not lift his face off the ground. They did not pass out or die.

Police do this all the time to criminals to subdue them since they are no longer allowed to use billy clubs to break their legs.

George killed himself. He overdosed on drugs, he resisted arrest which normal people, non criminal, non drug induced delirium people do not do. The police on several occasions loosened up on him then he would try to escape. They put him in the car with handcuffs and he fought 2 police officers to get back out of the car. He had super strength like he was on drug (because he was) so they did the right thing.

Could police monitor him better? I watched the video, he was still breathing when he quit talking and passed out.

Life lesson. Don't take Fentanyl. Don't overdoes Fentanyl. Don't take drugs and drive around in a car where police could pull you over. If you OD on drugs, do it in the comfort of your house so police don't try to arrest you. Don't pass counterfeit bills. Don't resist arrest. When police put you in the cop car, don't fight your way out.
Police did not kill George. George killed George. ... (show quote)

I know the area of the Floyd event. You don't leave a crime area of Texas to straighten out your life and move into a crime area of Minneapolis to improve your life. You don't ride around with two drug pushers thinking these people will help you stay straight. You don't try to pass counterfeit money. In my opinion Floyd died from Fentanyl usage while being restrained by police not by how the police restrained him. That method of restraint has appeared on the show "Adam 12" several times. "Adam 12" was considered correct police procedure at that time and the show producers used cops to tell them how to script the scenes. The four cops needed a fair trial. A trial without political influence affecting the outcome.

I love my towncar, it only has 92,000 miles on it. A corporation owned it and didn't drive it much.

I love the ride and also have an Elantra for around town, so the Lincoln is my long distance car.

(just out of curiosity: did you ever have a problem with the AM radio ? - FM works great !)

No problems with radio. I did however change the air suspension to a ford spring suspension. Still a great ride and much cheaper to do.

Yep; however for me, I will keep my old Towncar.

I like your choice of cars. I also drive a 2003 town car. It now has 168,000 miles on her. We bought her six years ago for $6,000. Two separate times she was hit while parked and we were paid $5,500 for cosmetic damages. I saw no point in fixing cosmetic damage and we still have her. She has been parked for about 15 months outside in Minnesota. Yesterday I charged the battery, turned the key, and she fired up in about 5 seconds. 26-28 mph on the highway, comfortable ride, and quiet inside and out. I could sell her tomorrow for $2,500. Since I paid so little for her, I never put collision insurance coverage on her. I feel that I was paid to own her.

I didn't know that it was denatured before going to the refinery. I do know that there is considerable less energy in a gallon of alcohol than there is in a gallon of gasoline.

its denatured before it leaves the refinery. we also hauled ethanol in food grade tankers.

Can you burn unleaded, I once wasted the valve seals on my 1974 El Camino in the early 80s, I grabbed the wrong pump, those were the days when you had a regular and unleaded available at the pump.

check with an auto zone type store for an additive for leaded motors or have your engine brought up to date.

If is only now that 15% is safe in newer cars whar should older car owners use for fuel?

I have a 1964 t-bird convertible and use premium straight (without ethanol) gas. If I rebuild the motor seals, change the fuel lines, get a new fuel pump, and again rebuild the carburetor, I might start using 10% ethanol.

What happens to materials in contact with ethanol, and what happens to materials exposed to 85% gasoline and 15% ethanol may be quite different. We have been using 90% gasoline 10% ethanol for many years now.

The reason you haven't had 15% until now is because internal combustion engine technology needed time to manufacture equipment that could handle the effects of ethanol. It's not that we don't know how to produce seals, fuel lines, and gaskets that are compatible with ethanol, we can and do. Ethanol is a very good cleaning agent, and has effects on cylinder walls and other components like fuel pumps. Ethanol dissolves, in time, a lot of compounds. did you know transport tankers hauling ethanol for use in motors is mixed with a small amount of gasoline so it can't be used to drink as booze.

It has the potential to take out thousands of cars and trucks that were built with the right seals. The company I worked for lost most of our delivery hoses and site glasses on our fuel tankers when we first started hauling ethanol to refineries for mixing into gasoline.

Just bought a sound bar for my new Sampson tv. Now when I walk by the tv, the sound bar announces it is turning on or off. Hey!!! the tv isn't even on. What really gets me is when it goes off as I make my way to the bathroom at 3:30 am while in the total dark room.

The other day at the casino I talked with a man in his 70's-80's wearing a WWII field jacket. The jacket had a couple of patches I didn't recognized. He also wore a 1st Leui bar that was rusty. I had my doubts about him until he told me he was still in the National Guard and had just requalified on the pistol range. He said they used 44's because that's all the guard had. Even after I offered him that he may have meant 1911 45s, he insisted they were 44s. The 44 was military issue in 1870. Now I think he may have been lying about his age (too).

I also use the 24-85 vr with my d810 and d700. Love it. Light weight, good range . Its focus is almost a constant f4. Very sharp and good enough for everyone except top end pixel pipers. The best attribute is it is cheap. I think it out performs the 24-120 f4.
