What I wouldn't give to go back, Bill. Thanks for the memories!
Stick with the old way. GPS has been known to fail. I'd also suggest new maps.
Virtually anywhere along the Texas Gulf Coast. Google - Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail.
Western Scrub Jay would be my guess.

What fascinates me about the people who post on the Hog is their complete lack of understanding of the internet and forums. Posting a comment or opinion about me on a thread that I began to complement some other person who has posted else where, they expressing their personal feelings about what they think I should be doing, well it is soooo mindless and pathetic.
Why don't you open your mutual admiration social with him and his posts, why drag me into your strange little love affair. I have no interest in having a threesome.

He just joined in April of this year and I've only seen a small portion of his work. Way too soon for any mutual admiration social (I think you meant society) and a threesome is out; you wouldn't have anything to contribute so it's completely out of the question that I would drag you into what you perceive as a little love affair.
Don't know if your first paragraph included me but as it concerns the internet, I've been using it since it was made available to the public. As far as forums are concerned, I joined UHH back in 2013. I believe I have a pretty good understanding of both.
In your second sentence you stated something about posting a comment or opinion about me. You were named in my comment but no where did I express a definitive opinion of your pictures. You went on to say something about someone expressing personal feelings about what they thought you should be doing. Be assured that I couldn't care less about what you should be doing. In fact, I have no idea what that would be anyway.
I would imagine there were those who liked the paintings of Rembrandt; in all likelihood there were those who didn't. I can't imagine him spending much time defending his work. I think he would have just shrugged his shoulders, kept his mouth shut, and went back to doing what he did best.
Earlier someone suggested that if one didn't want to look at something don't open it. Good advise. Now, if I see something posted by you I'll just skip it and that will be of no great loss to either of us.

There are no restrictions of female posting, or male models being posted. So, you need to look for the answers to your questions in the field of psychology, or sociology, not from anyone here.
I see that you've just recently started posting your work. Knowing that art is in the eye of the beholder, I have to say that your 'art' is so much more pleasing to me than Timmer's.
Brown Thrasher in all probability.

Beautiful. We live in Maryland, maybe 40 miles from Baltimore and I have never seen a Baltimore Oriole in the wild!
If there are any in your area just put out a small bowl of jelly (grape works fine) and you'll see them.
As always, another great shot.
Beautiful shots. Looking forward to seeing more when possible. Stay safe!
