Did you shoot your photo of the bird in RAW format? If so, you would be the only person who could have a copy of that file. That would be your proof.

I have a Kelby subscription, have watched several Julieann Kost and Terry White Lightroom Classic videos, but to me the best by far is the video series by Laura Shoe. She starts with how to load (or upgrade from earlier versions) LR Classic all the way through making books, uploading to the internet, etc. Very detailed yet easy to follow and understand.

"...for a place counts itself as an educated first world country." Yeah, talk is cheap. We trail most of the developed world in education and in many other areas. We have a lot of stupid, arrogant, frightened people here.

As Carlo Cipolla's first law of stupidity states: you will always and inevitably underestimate the number of stupid people in the world! So true!!!!

I recently had to send my dog across Rainbow Bridge. Part of me wants another dog and part doesn't. Right now the loss is too painful.

My wife and I had to put our Lhasa Apso down in late January -- very hard to do and we still really miss her. She was part of our family for 15 years (got her as a rescue dog when she was about 2-1/2 years old). We plan to wait a year or more before getting another dog.

I have yet again another question. I see the RF 70-200 lens doesn't have an extender to work with it. I shoot sports with my 70-200 f2.8 II plus the 2x extender. This is a concern. Can I use my 70-200 plus the extender in the RF adaptor? Wow! That would be long and heavy though.

Yes, I have the R5 and an EF 70-200 f2.8 II. You can put the 1.4X or 2X extender on the EF lens then attach an EF to RF adapter to that combination so you can attach it to the R5. However, because of the weight of such a combination, I purchased the RF 100 - 500mm lens - much less weight and shorter. Just got back from Africa, and this combination worked great! You will love the R5 once you get used to the menu and controls which are somewhat different than the Canon DSLR's such as the 5d Mk IV.

https://support.topazlabs.com/article/67-how-to-install-gigapixel-ai-as-a-photoshop-plugin

Gigapixel is used as about the last thing you do to a photo but only if you want to upsize it for printing, etc. Will not generally do a good job if the original photo has been substantially cropped. -- Garbage in garbage out principle.
Not necessary for 8 X 10 prints normally.

Sorry, but the raw photo taken by your camera is not an analog workflow. Your camera is storing a digital image made up of zeros and ones. Analog signals are continuous curves, frequently sine waves.

Nice

The girl that sat in front of me in sixth grade shed
one of her long dark hairs onto my desk.

I tied the end of the hair to a large rubber
tarantula; and from my desk behind
quietly lowered it down to about 2 inches
in front of her face... it had the same effect
as what the diaper testers had in mind lol

I got a hearty laugh out of your post! Just wondering, however, how many days detention did that get you?

As John MacArthur, a pastor of a large church in California, recently said: " U.S. universities, especially in the humanities and liberal arts, are very good at teaching people to be stupid." In the mid-1970's a renowned professor of economic history at the Univ. of California, Carlo Cipolla, published an essay containing 5 laws of human stupidity; the first and most important being that no matter how many stupid people you think are around, you will always underestimate the number.

For anyone who subscribes to KelbyOne, there is a new course posted by Jack Reznicki and Ed Greenberg that addresses copyrights and copyright registration. Lots of great information in the lessons they include in that course.

Anyone who quotes a percent death rate is simply grasping at air. We know the numerator of that fraction, but we have no earthly idea what the denominator is -- and will not until we have tested a large percentage of the population for possible infection.

I would think that the OP wants to see the big 5 as most newbies to African safaris wish to, so go easy and no need to nit pick. By the way, since when has North America include 23 countries ?? Is there no Central America and South America ?? Correct spelling for plural of safari is safaris, and expedition rather than expidition. Belize is definitely not in North America.

Little geography: North America does have 23 countries, Belize is most definitely in North America (as is Panama), and Central America is NOT a continent.

Not sure the bag is all that important from a safety standpoint. Once you pull your camera out of whatever bag to take a photo, the people around you are going to know that you have camera equipment in that bag. As someone pointed out, thieves will stalk you and target you when you least expect it. As has been repeated several times, be aware of your surroundings and use caution. Have a safe and satisfying trip!

It depends on how much you are cropping AND how large of a print you want. A guide is that when printing an 8 X 10 photo, the eye cannot see the difference between 10 mp and any larger number of pixels. Pixel counts in cameras are more of a marketing tool than a real factor when selecting a camera. Compose your photos well and you don't need the mega pixel cameras.
