Thanks Amfoto1. It's working fine now. It seems to have been the Image Review setting. I have it set to M since that's what I'm trying to learn. Appreciate all the suggestions!
No hoodman but that's a good idea. Thanks a lot.
Yes, I did a reset. I'll check for software upgrade. Thanks a lot.
Thanks for the advice. I couldn't find a place for the back up button so probably not on this model.
I turned off the auto setting display for the LCD monitor to darken when getting close to the viewfinder. It's annoying but I'll get used to it.
Thanks very much for the suggestions.
I have a Canon EOS T5i about a year old. Recently the opening screen is blank and I don't know if I should send it in for repairs or if there is a setting I disabled somehow. The Menu screen is fine and the review photo screen is fine, but I need to see my settings when I shoot. Any ideas will be greatly welcome.
Similar thing happened to me. I brought the laptop to the Microsoft store and they installed Windows 10 (free). Works fine.
Thanks a lot for your help. I'll be much more careful in the future.
I need advice on what to do about an online scam I fell for. As soon as I realized my mistake, I unplugged my PC and cancelled my credit card. My virus program didn't detect anything but I'm afraid to use the PC. I downloaded all my files from Carbonite to another computer. Is there a program that I can get to clean the suspect PC? Anyone have any experience with the Geek Squad at Best Buy ($150 to $200)? The computer is only 2 years old and was expensive. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks. I was thinking about Smug Mug. Great photos by the way.
Thanks for all the great suggestions. I'm sure I'll find a suitable site.
I have used Dropbox in the past to share photos and there was never any problem but I posted some photos the other day and sent them to two friends. One said the photos were too small to view and the other said you had to start an account to view them.
I tried Shutterfly and sent the invitation to my laptop using my second email address. They also wanted me to join to view the files.
Is there a free site where the recipient doesn't have to join anything to view photos?
Thanks a lot.
B&H has a special edition stellar for under $1,000. I'm undecided.
