Thank you, and thank all of you who tried to help. I moved the camera out of range of my home wifi and everything works fine. Weird!!!
Not weird at all. When in range of your home router the phone will default to that network. In this situation you need to follow the procedure that many have already told you. You must go into the phone's wifi and select the Nikon WiFi network.
This is just one example. If you take your current lens bag to a golf or sporting goods store you may find similar options to better accommodate your bag. These straps are designed to distribute the weight onto both shoulders. Good luck!
Thanks for your comment. Without the boat it would just be another cloud picture. I wanted the boat to give more of a story. Shrimping with a squall approaching. The boat was selectively brightened already. With the morning sun already back lighting the boat. I did not want to over due with the direction of the light.
I agree. The boat is backlit as it should be. If you did brighten it you did it subtly enough so as not to lose the natural and realistic honesty of the scene. Very nice image!
Actually, Steve, I think the OP understands the concept of sharpening and was taken aback by what he read. I've had the same experience myself. Example: "Mode P means Professional."
As for Mode 'P', I've changed it on my cameras to 'BTM', 'Better Than Me'!
FOTOR. Quick, easy and fairly effective for my so-so JPEGS. Unfortunately they only offer as a subscription now! As per Gene51's suggestion photos attached.
I normally don't go for extreme enhancement but I pick #2 because in this case the enhancements really do "enhance" the story without the extra embellishments of #3. He is apparently deeply into a guitar solo and your enhancements look like he's got the spots pointed right at him which IMHO enhances the shot in a more natural way. So 2,1,3 for me. Very nice images.
IMHO I think both are very good. Possibly in #2 the flash could have been diffused to be a little softer and as someone mentioned earlier the use of a deflector could have filled in the shadows a touch. Very nice.
