They promise to build a bridge even where there is no river.
This actually happened in Lake Havasu AZ. Although McCullough wasn't a politician per se, but he did build a bridge in the desert, then dug a channel under it.

That would be the London Bridge. It was taken apart in London and the pieces numbered and shipped to Havasu and re-assembled!

Well, for example, if the material in the can is liquid CO2 (nitrogen, etc.), then the vapor (air) in the can is plain CO2 gas, I don't think liquid CO2 contains moisture... The can does not contain <ambient> "air" that was compressed.
I wonder how/where he got his information....
Maybe he read it on the internet.

I'll continue to use canned air without any fear of "moisture".

You may want to rethink your decision-having worked in 2 different fields endeavor that use canned air, I have seen the potential for damage. If you turn can upside down, or even move it just a little while using it, you'll get oily, freezing moisture from the nozzle. That's fine if you're trying to remove chewing gum from carpet, but not so good if you're trying to clean delicate optical or electronic devices! By the way, the canned air sold for janitorial use and that sold for photographic use are identical.

Nicely done. I particularly like that you eliminated any indication that you were in a zoo!

I purchased a Google 6 Pro for its camera capability. While the image quality is excellent, I find the user interface difficult to get used to. I have 65 years of experience using cameras of various formats, plus a recently acquired essential tremor, so I'm passing the Google phone to my wife, and have acquired a Sony RX-10iv to replace my extensive Sony collection.

So here's something that's been pissing me off for years!
I like yogurt. I enjoy the flavors, and it's a good healthy thing to consume. But, (and I'm assuming most of you have already noticed), some of the manufacturers, ("Yoplait" springs to mind), put "false" bottoms in the containers, (quarter to a half inch), so looking at it on the shelf, it looks like you're going to get, more than you actually do. I wonder, is there a reason for this "false bottom" or is it really a rip-off, still trying to fool us? When I purchase cans of beans, or cartons of cottage cheese for example, the contents extend and fill right down to the base, as it appears from the outside. Is it only yogurt companies that do this, and is there actually a valid reason, am I missing something, or is it just another way to rip us off? So, again, just wondering. It's really not an expensive item to begin with, but collectively, these items add up, and the bottom line is that I don't like to be ripped off, if that's what it is. (paying for something that visually looks larger than what it actually contained). So there you go, something new to ponder, and perhaps comment on, stay safe y'all, and have a great day,
Ray.

They still have to put the actual weight or volume of the product on the label, but you may have to read the "fine print" to find it! By using the same size outside packaging, they're hoping that you won't notice the smaller amount of product in the container! "We didn't increase the price of the package" ...No, but you put less product in the package and didn't lower the price!

The OP did say Nikon and with Nikon it's not a moot point. If the camera or lens is gray market Nikon won't fix it even if you pay.

They even won't supply parts to independent camera repair shops. They are the image making industry's Tesla/Apple! I just came across an article about farmers having difficulties keeping their 'modern' computer-controlled equipment functional when something goes wrong, because the manufacturer won't provide repair parts or assistance through normal channels! Watch our food prices go up!

Anything within 500 meters of the car is rarely worth even turning on the camera.

That statement shows a distinct lack of vision-some of my favorite (and most admired) images have been made within a very short distance or my transportation. I find that when I block out most of the 'visual static', and concentrate on the small details, I'm surprised at what I see. That isn't to say that I don't enjoy making images of sweeping scenic panoramas, but I often find those images within a very short distance from my vehicle as well!

Are Santa's reindeer male or female?

"Santa’s reindeer have been depicted as males throughout the media but science proves that these depictions are in fact wrong. Experts have stated that his reindeer are female as male reindeer lose their antlers in early December when mating season has ended, whilst female reindeer keep theirs throughout winter. As Santa’s reindeer’s are depicted with antlers, this can only lead to the conclusion that it is females that power the sleigh through the sky during the night of Christmas Eve each year."
