[quote=jerryc41] " I'm sure we've all seen people leaving a rest room without washing their hands..."
Sorry Jer, but I thought that was kind of funny. You see, when I was just a kid my dad taught me not to pee on my hands. It seems kind of silly that a guy feels he must wash his hands after holding his ding-a-ling to take a whiz but 5 minutes later thinks nothing of asking his wife or girlfriend to take it in her mouth.
Start with a good brand of popcorn. Use a Whirly Pop stovetop popper and use only coconut oil. The secret ingredient is Flavacol, a flavored salt that makes the popcorn taste as much like the old movie theater popcorn as possible.
ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – Canada will no longer provide training to the Kurdish Peshmerga forces as part of its role in the global campaign to defeat the Islamic State (IS), a senior Canadian military official said on Thursday.
Gen. Jonathan Vance, the Chief of Canada’s Defense Staff, said that Canada is now committed to training Iraqi government troops only.
“Training with the Peshmerga was ceased when it was no longer of any value in terms of the battle against Da’esh [IS],” Gen. Vance told reporters on Thursday outside a Canadian Global Affairs Institute conference in Ottawa.
“We have changed … partners,” the military official said.

What a joke! This obviously just “occurred” to you 6 days after is just “occurred” to the Washington Post. If you think the Republican party, and America for that matter, is just going to stand idly by while the Democrats overturn the 2016 presidential election with the impeachment of Donald Trump followed by the impeachment of Mike Pence just to install a Democrat in the White House you might want to see your doctor for a prescription of reality. The odds of this fantastical and unrestrained imaginative event actually occurring far exceed the odds of you voting for Donald Trump in 2020.
Any thoughts on the 25% tariff imposed last summer by the UK and EU on American whiskey?
I think Raskin was just having another bad hair day.
Check out the paintings of Salvador Dali. A master of the optical illusion.
Very nice photos. I remember sometime around '76 or '77 I seriously looked into buying a Triumph TR 7. I didn't, for better or worse. Maybe it was the "oh so ugly" seats that came with it. Although trimmed in leather, the seats were a colorful plaid or tartan cloth design I thought entirely inappropriate for the sleek lines of the car itself.
Great photos of a classic car. In the mid to late 1950’s, my dad was the district sales manager for Mercedes Benz in the midwest. We had two company cars. My dad had the 300 SL Gullwing exactly like the one in the 3rd picture. My mom had a white convertible Mercedes 190 SL. If I recall correctly, even back then the two Mercedes’s we had in our driveway cost more than the brand new 3 bedroom, 2 bath house we lived in.
A few classic cars seen at a couple of car shows.
Very, very nice. Who says you can't take great photos with a kit lens.
I guess you don't remember Windows 1.0 and 3.0 with the floppy discs either. lol

You should have stated this is an article written by Victor Davis Hanson.

Wee under attack
Where in the article did President Trump declare "America is under attack by immigrants?"

Minimum wage laws simply guarantee that the least skilled workers (the young, minorities, the least educated) will either lose their jobs or never get hired in the first place. This is one of the dumbest liberal ideas that gets propagated about, and people have no comprehension what damage it does. They actually think that minimum wage will help the poor when the exact opposite is the case.
