When shooting cattle, I like a quartering front shot. Sometimes the south end of a cow is not very pleasant.
I love this photograph---not only is the steer shot from a great angle, but the background frames him nicely without distraction.
A few years ago I quickly got out of a cab in Mexico and the driver left before I could grab my camera bag which contained my Nikon F3, two lenses, and a contex camera.
The hotel helped me file a report with the cab company and police, but the equipment was not found. I had a personal rider on my home insurance policy and they replaced my equipement.
Thank you----I will take your advise to heart.
Thank you for the feedback. I am curious as to whether the Traveler's Policy is standard apartment insurance or a special photography policy. I already have home owner insurance, but I don't think it would replace my equipment at full value and it certainly costs more than $115 a year. Can you tell me more about your policy? Thank you.
My cameras have always been insure under a personal rider policy, but now that I have acquired expensive equipment (4900 printer and color edge monitor) I called my agent about a business policy. She told me my cameras could no longer be under the personal rider policy and a business policy would include liability and medical, neither of which I need as I free lance out of home. Does anyone have any leads on insuring equipment?
