Beauty from many sources. This Thistle is just as lovely as the Passion flower.

Some off the top of my head, as mentioned, Courtney Cambell, also Ballast Point Pier, Phillipi Park in Safety Harbor, Upper Tampa Bay Park in Oldsmar and Cypress Point Park at the end of Cypress Street. Of course several locations for the magnificent Skyway Bridge and don't forget our Riverwalk.

If you enjoy hiking, try here http://www.tbep.org/enjoy_tampa_bay_responsibly-great_places_to_hike_in_tampa_bay.html

Enjoy!

If I understand your question, you want to use a photo posted by an UHH member in a personal PowerPoint presentation that may be leaked through some social media. Why not send a PM to the photographer and just ask for permission? I'm sure most of us would be flattered and graciously agree.

I sometimes create a Power Point Presentation - my shots for family & friends. Nothing commercial.
How do you feel using somebody's nice shot from this gallery ?

1. not pretending my ownership - of course
2. used more like complementing the page with text
3. Not asking for permission !!!!! UHH photographer !!
4. I know there is not a copy right on BUT !!!

Do you feel it still is ethical? and acceptable? practice.
I think it is OK

I did not do it yet (but I would like to), and it is highly unlikely that anybody will recognize his/her shot = you do not come to visit my family ...however my children can use it on face book or so and it will get spread. Who knows.

Pls let me know how you feel about it. Miro

1965 I turned 18 and went to work at Bethlehem Steel in Sparrows Point, MD. Made great money ($5,000 yr) but it was a dirty, filthy job. Loved it! Loved your photos too.

Thanks so much for all the encouragement and you folks taking the time to look. Sorry, I couldn't respond sooner but in a crash and burn situation at work so long hours. Happens at the end of every project. Again, thank you!

Sunday at a local park, I heard the keening cry of a bird of prey. After walking around the same 4-5 trees for 15 minutes, this landed in front of me capturing a lizard for a snack. Then he flew into a tree and continued his call. He sat there long enough for these photos. Hope you enjoy. I believe it is a young Red-Tail.

What neck strap lengths have users found best. Camera bottom above or below belly button? By how much about? Fatty, lean make a difference. Ideas welcomed.

I use a cross-body sling and allow the camera to hang at about my wrist. In this manner, I can cup it with my hand while walking and it is ready to bring to my eye for a photo. The sling also cushions the weight of the camera and lens (usually 300mm).
