To Roost - saturate sky a little.
I think there telephone poles, but look to be crosses. Very spiritual image.

Hi Photoman, im pleased you liked them, are you requesting me to saturate the sky, or you think the sky is a little too saturated. I prefer to send my photo's in unedited so members can give there opinions of my photo's, so they can see the photo as is. The only editing I might do is square up my horizons. I thought they were telegraph poles too, but they are actually wind turbines. Thanks for taking the time to look and comment, I really appreciate it. Im learning, but slowly. :D  pip

You've not done too bad at all Pip,it takes a lot of practice to shoot gulls in flight.I try to photograph my BIF on a sunny day,it makes it eaier with more light and i set my shutter speed at 1000 or 1250.Pretend you are aiming with a gun and try to keep the gulls in the centre of your viewfinder and pan the flight of the bird. You will not get every photo perfect but if you get just one out of say 20 shots your on your way. Then practice, practice till your arm aches, you WILL get there.

:D Thanks angler, great tips to log. I thought seagulls would be easy to capture, at least there's a lot of them anyway. It was cold and windy which did not help as they were all over the place in flight. I enjoyed the cup of tea and scone with jam n cream in the cafe tho' :P it was warm in there too ;) thanks again I shall put that to practice this weekend  pip
