No helmets. The bike is apparently stationary (see the wheel spokes) yet leaning over unsupported. Has the kick stand been photoshopped out?

Very nice. The unidentified one looks like chinodoxa (glory of the snow).

There are inexpensive foam pads that you can put under your kayak that don't need anything to hold them in place. Just tie down the kayak and you are good to go. Probably best for smaller kayaks. I have a Walden Paddler, which is only about 10 feet long and weighs 34 lbs - I can hold it with one hand, and I'm over 80. It has no rudder but tracks very straight. Not for white water or exposed seas, but for ponds, rivers and sheltered bays or inlets it's lovely.

I would highly encourage you to have them submit a proof of the draft they typeset that you approve before printing multiple copies. I would also suggest you submit in pdf format rather than Word. Formatting in Word may not necessarily translate into print. I had an acquaintance that had a large number of hardbacks printed directly from the Word file only to find to her dismay that the spacing was a mess, including half blank pages and sentence fragments.

Sorry I couldn't make it. I had another engagement that I didn't go to either.

No bugs or green shoots yet in our area. Taken with a Nikon PB6 bellows and Pentax 50mm prime on Canon 6D. I'm just learning with this setup. It looks like a piece of fried fish.

I have and like the Sigma 105mm, the OS version that I bought on Ebay. There is an older, non-OS version that you might find for less. The 105 is also quite useful as a short telephoto.

You don't need real flowers to get the background: photographs will do nicely - gardening books/magazines, seed catalogues etc.

In the past I have used Combine ZP, a free programme for stacking macro images. I lost it when my hard drive died, and I need to reinstall it, but can't find it anywhere. All I get is an invitation to download a file conversion programme. The stacking software seems to have disappeared. Does anyone have any ideas on getting hold of it?

Take a tripod. Yes, it's a pain to pack and carry, but how many opportunities are you going to get to capture Venice at night? And remember that in February your days will be shorter and light may not be the greatest. Even a tabletop tripod is better than nothing.
