Hello everyone… it has been sometime since I have been on here… the long time users may recognize me but the relative newbies may not…!!! I haven’t been taking many pictures of late but hope to get the dusty Canon out again if I can find it… maybe after Christmas or the new year if I am still kicking around…!!!
So this post is just a resurrection of some of my past photos… please feel free to comment but please be gentle… I hope everyone is happy & healthy this holiday season & for many more ahead…!!! Stay happy & stay healthy…!!!

P.S.
Some of you have read this before and just recently... instead of rewriting something new for each topic, to expedite, I have copied and pasted to save time... at my age time is so very precious... I am not trying to be disrespectful but being expedient so I can continue to the next topic since time sometimes can be your enemy...!!!

Wow...!!! How does that old saying go...??? "Better late than never"!!! So many things have happened in my life since I was last on here... I am trying to come back... had several tragedies, one after another... was kept really busy... trying to heal emotionally, dust myself off, and get back up on that bucking horse of life again, and ride it like the dickens...!!!

I saw these unanswered comments and thought that I would try to return the courtesy by answering them...!!!
Thanks to everyone for your comments, sincerely appreciated...!!!

Excellent shot. What you said about mom and pop helping the kids find food until they learn how to fend for themselves, but some kids don't ever learn how to fend for themselves so mom and pop are always under the gun for food.

LOL...!!!

Great shot in my opinion!

Thanks flyguy for your comment... I was really lucky to find the Robin's nest...
I was prepping my widow woodwork for painting on my second floor, when I saw a Robin land in my Holly Tree in my side yard... I watched it hop around and saw where it stopped... I could see about 3/4 of the Robin standing on a branch near the edge of the Robin nest which held about 3 or 4 baby Robins that appeared only to be about 2-3 days old. Of course I hurried downstairs to get my camera... by the time I got back upstairs the parent Robin was gone but there they were... about 3-4 baby Robins with heads bobbing up and down turning their little heads awkwardly from side to side... I took several shots of the baby Robins waiting for mama or papa Robin to return... about 5 minutes later one of the parent Robins returned with a large wiggling worm... to my surprise the parent Robin broke the worm into smaller pieces and stuffing their little beaks, one by one, full of worm parts! Wow!!! Over the next few weeks I kept taking photos of the nesting Robins and what an education I got watching and photographing the beautiful nesting Robin family until finally the baby Robins fledged and left the nest one by one until they were all gone... I had mixed emotions about them leaving but that is the routine of life that has occurred a countless number of times down through history. Every year I watched and looked for another nesting Robin to return... I was hoping that a Robin or some other bird would come back and reuse the nest... it was pretty sturdy and well protected year round because the Holly tree keeps replenishing their leaves year round... but finally after a couple years the nest started deteriorating until one day it was gone! I was just hoping to catch another nesting bird family so conveniently located... maybe a once in a lifetime event unless you stay alert and keep your ears and eyes open!

Here is another shot of a baby Robin in my Holly tree... Spreading it's wings getting ready to fledge... nearing that time for Junior to say goodbye and leave the nest... but mama and papa will help him out with some food until he learns to fend for himself... all kids are the same no matter who they belong too...!!!

Looks like Chewy was a great pal - sorry for your loss.

Thank you yssirk123 for your comment... Chewy was a great pal without question... I miss his little sweet character... he was so very close to me... as I may have mentioned many times before, Chewy was my shadow and I was his... like most Yorkies he was so smart and he played me like a violin, and we made great music together... but now his music is no longer heard and so missed... although the memories of him fill my heart they are bitter-sweet... sweet from all of the fun-filled times that we had together, yet bitter because those times are only memories... how I miss my loving Chewy...!!!

Bruce - so sorry for your loss. I lost my pal same time last year (see my avatar). I know how you still feel. Del.

Thanks Del for your comment... I have lost several Yorkshires in the past two years... one devastating blow after another... all from complications from IBD and liver failure, and medicines that they had to take... but it might be a hereditary issue from Chewy the father of all that were lost... Chewy was the carrier... he lasted a little longer than his offspring did but it finally caught up with him too... they were all under the supervision of vets...!!! I spent several thousand dollars trying to save them... even treated them long past what the vet recommended, in an effort to give them a better chance of making it...!!! But I would have spent twice as much to still have them here with me...!!! Thanks again for your comment... best wishes... and stay safe...!!!

Wow .., thru the scope ...love the moon shot ...in post editing .., I got another 20% more detail using my IpadPro programs .., if I used my MacBook Pro programs .., I estimate 30% more detail can be had ...bottom line ..great shot with a lot of time and effort ...

Thanks Dr.Nikon for your positive comment on my Moon shot... much appreciated... I haven't had my scope out in a year...!!! I hope to get it out this year if possible... I don't think that I can top my best moon shot to date... it took many nights and hundreds of shots to get that photo... but one can always hope...!!!
Thanks again...

I've also lost a number of pets in my 77 years. It's always very traumatic if your a true pet lover. Enjoy the pictures and memories that you have of Chewy.

Thank you Huey Driver for your comment about my Chewy... again I must admit... I never would have believed that such a small dog could be such a huge lost for me... Chewy never failed me for one day in bringing joy and laughter to my heart... I sure loved him and I miss his companionship... such a great friend and best buddy...!!!

Sorry for your loss Bruce.Beautiful photos.

Thank you Jim for your comment... sorry for the very late response... our world has been turned upside down and it has changed drastically in such a very short time...!!! It sickens my heart to see what has happened to our country... bad choices has cost our country and our people dearly... I just pray that I live long enough to see normacy return to our country, and once again, hopefully, we can take back our seat in leadership and respect at the table of world affairs...!!! We can not keep repeating the errors and sins of the past... if we do, we have not learned from past mistakes, and we are doomed to repeat them...!!!

Thanks Michael for your comment... Somehow I missed your comment... I haven't been on UHH very much in the last two years... just got too busy and got out of the habit of getting on... but since the world has been turned upside down and we have been on lock down I decided to get back on UHH and was reviewing my posts to see if I had answered all prior comments... well I have run into a slew of unanswered post and trying to answer them... most have probably forgot and will be surprised that I am back online and answering old post and reposting some of my old posts... well enough for now... I am getting back to answering all of my unanswered post... stay safe and I hope that you, family, and friends stay healthy and happy... bye for now...!!!
