Hi all, I took a bit of a punt at a car boot and bought a d90 that the guy said was not working right, it seems to work ok auto focus and actually takes pics but the rear screen doesn't work so unable to review shots anyone had this happen before, I am normally a canon shooter, is ther something I am missing with regard to the controls on the camera any help appreciated
Thanks
Bill

What are you using to light the wool? Gunpowder or a torch works great. Probably safer to use torch, but then again...I always live dangerously.
gunpowder???

thanks for the reply, i have actually watched these vids but i am having difficulty removing that plate and as the vids do not specifically refer to a 7d just wondered if there was any difference or maybe i can push the screwdriver a little harder to lift the plate. just wanted someone to confirm that its the same procedure.

my 7d seems to think an external flash is fitted even though there isnt. apparently its a well known problem witha lot of dslrs and is due to a sticking plunger which is on the hotshoe. its possible to fix it by removing the hot shoe plate. has anyone ever done this on a 7d
thanks

I see a slight overall red cast ...., could be the carpet and drapes reflecting light onto the dress.

how would you prevent that?
