I own an canon EF 70-300mm f4-5.6is USM Image Stabilizer and have taken excellent sharp focus photos from my car on outside scenery such as winter trees frosted in below freezing weather and shot the whole tree as well as close up of the bark and parts of branches of same tree. Great lens for various conditions. Good Luck to ya.
