I worked on some DuKane filmsound Projectors that had a filmstrip projector and record player in the same (cramped) case. Tones were recorded on the record to advance the filmstrip.
Newer models incorporated a cassette player in a much more compact case. They had some switch for different tone styles.
Haven't seen any in years.

Thanks for the info. Interesting. 😊📸
For slides, we had Carosel Projectors with the 5 pin circular jack for a remote control switch.
When I worked @ Telemation, we had amazing automations to control a pair of these along with B&H 16mm Projectors and other technology for automatic A/V presentations. (Long time ago)

Hi. I have a bell and howell cube slide projector 981q and a sound cube 766281 to play sound to the projector. Does anybody have any idea what cassette recorder goes with it? Thanks

I’m looking at a bell and howell filmsound 450 cassette player because one reference states that it is what the sound cube goes to. But when I research the recorder most info refers to using a movie projector.

The sound cube has a cord with 5 plugs on it and the cassette player has 5 jacks but 3 are for the projector and 2 are for the camera. But it does look like a match from sound cube cord to projector jacks except for the label. Would this work at all with the sound cube?

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi does anyone have experience with the Sun print cyanotype kits? I was wondering how easy it is to use and also what quality the print it makes. Is the paper thin or thick? What is the longevity of the prints?

Thank you so much for any information.

Other than dust is there any haze fungus or scratches in the glass? If they are clean I’ll take all 3 for $30. I can use them thank you so much. 😊📸

I had some old WWII surplus aerial photo contact printers which I used in a B&W mass reproduction lab back in the 8x10 glossy era. To use them with modern papers we got some large sheets of ND filters to cut the light. There were timers which which had special connections to the printers which might be hard to find now.

Thanks for the info. We have a regular darkroom timer that we can try plugging it in. I bought some small sheets of grey plexiglass that may act as nd filter. The real neutral density filters big enough for the printer are way too expensive. So thanks for your ideas.

Hi I have an old Albert specialty co contact printer. I have read that today’s silver photo paper is too sensitive for the light that these use. Do you have any suggestions what kind of bulb we could use that would emit less light.

Also did this have to be plugged into a a timer to set the exposure because it just has a power cord no switch to turn on and off?

Also does anyone know of a bulb to use in it to make cynanotyp or van dyke prints?

If anyone has more information on this and how to use it would be really helpful and appreciated. Thanks so much.

I have sheets of film , they were what a printer used for his copy camera. I have no idea if they are good or bad. I opened one box and the film was in a sealed lets say "envelope". So the rest of the boxes , I did not open.

Are they photographic film? Was the envelope clear or black to protect from light? What size is it? Thanks
