This little guy was my entertainment while I ate my lunch at Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland, Florida. Hope you enjoy just a few of the many photos I took of this little one. It was quite the poser!

Great photos! But then, any picture with an airplane in it is not wasted on me. Here's one of my all time favorites; me standing under the wing of a North Korean aircraft. The pilot defected just before the war started. I'm not sure if that's a gun barrel or a pitot tube trying to poke its way out from under the camouflage.

Wow, what a memory to have!! Thank you for sharing!!

Looks like ship #4 has a passenger in the back seat. I'll be shooting the Blue Angels up in Oshkosh in July. I have some pics form another airshow on my FB page, but they could be better. I'll be renting a pro lens for the first time so I can't wait to see how they turn out! I try to get to AirVenture every couple years or so and try to stay for the week. when I drove a truck ('04-'07) I arranged one of my 34-hour rest periods so that I could attend Sun 'n ' Fun. Went on a ride in a Pitts S2B for about a 20 minute aerobatic flight. THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!! I'd love to get a ride in the B-17, but I don't have an extra $435 sitting around looking for something to do :(

Can't wait to see you photos in July!! Happy Shooting!!

I love watching (and photographing) the Blue Angels and the USAF Thunderbirds, though I must confess a preference for the Angels, being a former Marine. The most amazing thing that I have heard about the Blue Angels is that the pilots do NOT wear G-suits. They fly so close to each other that the inflation/deflation of the suit, although slight, would cause enough movement of the pilots extremities that they would crash into each other. This is especially impressive considering that they are pulling upwards of 9 Gs during some maneuvers.

Wow, great information. The Blue Angels and Thunderbirds alternate years at Sun 'n Fun. Always fun to see either but agree with you about the Blue Angels!

Erv, it is quite a show with many different types of planes. A bonus this year is 2 night shows.

The Blue Angels are performing at the 2017 Sun 'n Fun International Airshow in Lakeland, FL this weekend. I live about a mile from the airport so am lucky to be able to sit in my yard and watch the show. Plus the Blue Angels fly right over my house. Hope you enjoy a few of the shots from Friday's performance.

Stacked up!!

Thanks Phil! I understand and relate to the photo/nemesis list...took me 3 years to get a painted bunting.
