It's probably sitting in a container somewhere off the CA coast...
Probably, but our office also wasn’t quick to order them (dozen of them). They just needed them to be paid for this year and weren’t too concerned about when they would arrive.

Let us know what you think!
Things are a bit backed up order wise, it’s sounding like we won’t get our new machines until the first week in January.

How did you get 32 gb ram in a 2018 mbp? I thought they maxed out at 16?
It was the first year for that.

Hey, Clint, It's probably more power than you need. Enjoy it! I have a 16GB/1TB MacBook Air and find it all I need for now.
It’s also my work machine too, so I’ll occasionally push it to the limit when opening up/working with large building footprints from CAD/Revit/Revitzo or when doing 3d renderings. Also, since our design office doesn’t upgrade every year, it’s important that it has more processing power now, so in 4 years it’s still working efficiently for us.
I have a 14” M1 max with 64 gb ram and 2tb drive on order right now. I’ll let you know when it comes in how awesome it is :-)
I’m currently using a 2018 mbp with 32gb ram and 500 gb drive.
Agreeing to help a friend as a second shooter for a wedding…upon showing up I find her lying on the ground in severe pain. She had just thrown her back out. Guess who who shot the entire event.
I personally like Smugmug, but it's probably more than you want to spend. If you do end up liking it, let me know and I can send you a discount code that gives us both money off of your first year's subscription.
EDIT:
Here's the code anyways.

Congratulations!!! You have captured two beautiful Munchkins in their natural habitat.

True for my son. My daughter on the other hand would consider a library or bookstore her natural habitat.
I use both...CR for quick one off edits and where I might not need to save the image to my catalog library. LR when I want to integrate the images in my library and for batch work. In both cases sometimes I need to open images up in photoshop to do more robust image manipulation (cloning and such).

Handsome kids and beautiful backdrops!! You captured great separation from the background colors...gotta love those Olympus pro lenses!!
Thanks.
The 150mm (aka the little tuna) is the old 4/3 style lens and is technically classified as SHG (super high grade). Back then, before micro 4/3, the lenses were designated as standard, high grade and super high grade. Then when Olympus went to m4/3 they switched classifications to Standard and Pro. In some ways I think SHG glass is better than PRO. Personally, I would put this lens in a "Legendary" category :-)

Thanks everyone. The trees were pretty much at full peak colors, which were rather intense in some of my shots.
Been a while since I last posted here, in fact photography has somewhat taken a backseat the past couple of years. That said, over the years since I've been here I usually post my kids fall photos, and I just realized I haven't done that for last year. I found a new location, a short 1 mile trail near my house with lots of opportunities, this one being my favorite natural bench. EM1ii 150mm f2, natural light.

Great shots
Wow, a trip down memory lane. Thanks for resurrecting this post. We didn’t get to stay at the grand this year due to Covid.
If I decided switch...it would probably be to a Panasonic m4/3 body. Or a newer EM1iii body. I was really looking forward to a weather sealed Pen-f mkii body.
