I have D800 and I used the 28-300 which followed me in my trips in Europe (France, England, Italy, Belgium...) and to Viet Nam, Thailand...Lately I prefer to go light, with my Sony Rx10 III and Sony RX100 IV.
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you , Mark. Excellent report . Beautiful pictures. What lenses did you use? 28-300 ?

The Xpan was a 36x72 format camera, 3 interchangeable lenses, very expensive.
Did you use the polarizer ?
I tried to use my Sony RX 10 III to get these macro photos. I am not very pleased with the sharpness of this Zeiss (24-600) lens.
How about with the Nikkor micro 105 f2.8 ? Your precious suggestions will be appreciated.
Beautiful bird and a successful picture ! Thank you .

Had a trip to Staffordshire and decided to go and see the fairy sculptures at Trentham Gardens, well worth the trip and a lovely walk round the lake
Nice sculptures and beautiful pictures ! Thank you for sharing
AMD
Thanks. I have very little knowledge about computer and PP. I heard about RAW and DNG but have not tried. I shoot JPEGs and rely on my luck !
Thanks.
Do you have any experience with other Sony or Zeiss wide angle lenses ?
Thank you for the warning.
You are talking about FF Canon lenses, they are good ones. I like to carry small, light cameras (Sony A 6000 is an APS-C ) I do not have experience with the Sony or Zeiss lenses.
I mostly use my Sony A 6000 with its 10-18mm and 50mm lenses to walk around. What do you suggest for better street and landscape photography with this Sony?
Do you only use brand name batteries? Do you wait until complete drain to charge your batteries ?
How about Watson or Wasabi batteries? Can you give any comments on these 3rd party batteries?
Thank you.
I like your composition and B&W exposure: cold weather !
Thank you.
+It does look like a good painting of birds jumping off of corn field in a bird hunting trip !
I have Nikon F4 then D800 with 14-24, 24-70, 105 , 80-200 and 28-300. I love these lenses and walk around with 28-300. But lately I switched to Sony RX10 MIII with Zeiss 24-600 , f2.4-4, lighter, more compact, faster and more reach for birds or macro.
I like the combination Sony RX 10 MIII, 24-600 and Sony RX 100 MIV , Zeiss 24-70 , f1.8 for travels.
