Get polarized sunglasses and look around at things in the sunshine with and without them. There is a difference.

Plus, as someone else suggested, the glasses can be used as a filter in a pinch. Remember to rotate the lenses until the glare is gone.

For contrast, I was taught to use a green filter for B&W. It worked inside well with controlled lighting.

My point and shoot stopped working in -23C in Canada tubing. Warmed the batteries and got a shot or two. One pic of the sign with the current temp. Once warm at home the camera worked fine.

I did it and did not loose any settings, but cannot tell the difference yet. used it for many picks last night and all went well. install was simple with no issues. i was on version 1 and am now on 3.21. it does turn on faster. will do more auto focus tests with different lenses this weekend.

I love Photoshop since CS3, I have learned to wonderful things in it. Its the sub par output device that frustrates me.

I am forced to use a multi purpose color photocopy machine (Savin C2004) at work for "professional" photos. I can never get color or photo quality results, even with the best paper. Its like any Photoshop work is just an exercise in futility. Frustrated since I do not know if it a setting thing or device that will never meet the needs no matter how much I try. Where can I go for support and knowledge?

The on board flash is too low and shadows are made by the lens. What is a good, possibly non Sony, flash that communicates well? I have several for my old 35mm Nikon that work as slaves from a flash, but I want an on board a option for a free hand.

I really like them. It takes the harshness off of the standard unit. I often held the flash up with a finger for a ceiling bounce to then see the flash demarcation line on a subject from inconsistent flash angle. These keep the flash up high enough. Also they are thin enough to adjust the flash bounce a bit backward or forward. You can close and open the flash with it in place. The flash also opens and set in place behind the card. The product is elegantly simple. Also they don't take up much room. I don't use the amber though.

I had the NEX-6 for about a year. It was so small compared to my D300s rig that did not realize that I lost it in LAX until hours later. I still have the empty case. The camera fit into a jacket pocket (or baggy shorts) and was a great walk around camera. I even used it for some work since I could adapt my prime Nikon lenses and capture in raw. It was great once I got used to the layout. I now need to replace it and the A6000 seems like the obvious choice. I have not excluded Olympus yet. Not fast enough for sports though. I think people perceived it as a toy and not a professional camera, so you may not be taken seriously by the uninformed. Even with my Nikkor glass, I was asked "where was my good camera?" Both sensors are larger than my D300s'.
