I use it on my Nikon D3000 and it does a great job, it was the only lens I used on my Alaska trip. Tried to keep packing to a minimum.

I've used Walgreens for other books and they have always been nice.

I've used Walgreens several times and have always had them turn our very nice. I usually do them when they have the 50% off sale, makes them a really good price. They make great gifts!

I'm with you! We just returned from two weeks in Colorado and the smoke really ruined the photos. The area is so beautiful and the pictures just don't do justice to the beauty.

I don't remember the difference in cost. But we really enjoyed it and felt it was worth the little bit of extra spent. All of the money from the tours goes to support and care for the horses, the guides are volunteers. Our guide was an older gentleman and very knowledgeable. He took his time and showed us not only the horses but the surrounding area as well, telling of it's history which in itself was very interesting. He gave me plenty of opportunity to photograph the horses. We didn't see any thing spectacular like running horses, but just groups standing around and looking beautiful. They had a couple of new babies when we were there and we got plenty of shots of them as well. Either trip you choose, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

We went to the Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary a couple of years ago. We took a one on one jeep tour with a guide. We saw a lot of horses and he did a wonderful explanation of their history, their brands and the sanctuary itself. The tour was well worth every penny we spent and we'd do it again in a heart beat! Enjoy the experience!

I am a very amateur photographer. I took a class several years ago and read information, especially from the posts on here. My problem is I just don't have the time right now to learn to use my equipment the way I should and without being able to practice continually I forget all the important stuff. My wonderful husband thinks I need nice stuff because I love to take pictures. I have a Nikon D3000 that he bought me several years ago. Then he bought me a Tamron 18-270mm F/3.5-6.3. I really like this lens, it's generally the only lens I use. Sometimes I get some pretty awesome pictures. Being the wonderful man he is he decided I needed more reach at times and bought me a used Tamron SP AF200-500mm F/5-6.3 Di LD(IF). It's a nice lens and I've used it a few time, but it doesn't auto focus with my D3000. My eyes aren't the greatest and what appears to be in focus on the camera doesn't always come out in focus when the pictures are viewed on the computer. Now he wants to buy me a body that will work with this larger lens and auto focus to help me. I need some guidance and what the best body would be for this lens. Any other suggestions would also be greatly appreciated!

I am a VERY amateur photographer, even though I love it, just don't have the time it takes to learn my camera and lenses and how to use them properly. My wonderful husband thinks I need to have all this nice stuff and I really appreciate that thought, but right now I just don't have the time to devote to learning and using. I have a Nikon D3000 and a Tamron 18-270 mm F/3.5-6.3 which I use all the time and absolutely love. My wonderful husband thought I needed a little more "reach" at times and bought me a used Tamron SP AF 200-500 mm F/5 - 6.3 DILD(AF) Model A08N Nikon compatible. The issue is it doesn't auto focus with my D3000 body so now he wants to buy me another body that this lens will auto focus. I'm working on learning to use the lens and how to use it manually. I try to find time to read this forum and have learned a lot from all of you wonderful photographers and I greatly appreciate all the information and feedback out there. Suggestions for a camera body would be awesome or any other words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated!!!

This is an awesome place! We visited last May/June on vacation in South Dakota and took the personalized tour. Was well worth the money. The animals are beautiful and the history is vast and rich. Would highly recommend a visit.

My husband bought a Nikon Coolpix L810 for our trip to Alaska back in June. It's an amazing camera and does everything and more than my Nikon D3000. It's very user friendly and the pictures it took were awesome!
