We did this cruise a couple years ago ,advice..leave your camera and lens over the in room fridge vent to keep it warm in the a/c controlled room.I got up before sunrise and went to the highest point on the ship and got really good sunrise photos also a long lens for the canal transit to get shots of alligators on the shore/water..great trip enjoy

I have a canon 6 D and a 1 D mk 11,and several L lenses and a R72 infared filter(77mm).The sensors on these 2 cameras will not register IR light waves. would like to buy an older canon dslr that works with IR .Any recommendations?

I'm thinking of replacing my T3 with a used 5D ($425),is this a good move ,I have 4 L lenses.
I was on a carriabian cruise and set my camera and lens on or near the exhaust vent of our room refrigerator so I could go out at sunrise with no lens /camera fogging issues.
I USE A CANON 2X II ON MY 70-200 2.8 IS ALL THE TIME,F STOP SHOWS 5.6.USED A CANON 2X BEFORE,NEVER NOTICED ANY DIFFERENCE.
All of my canon lenses have a filter attached and a hood attached (by thread,58mm etc.) and a hood threaded onto it.
It's not a federal building,it's a provincial capital,but still a good photo

I am using a1:2.8 f=28mm lens,manual adapters and canonT3 .I tried the long and short tubes seperate and together,they are Canon and # 1,2,and3.thx
