I am looking for a specific picture.....that being of a farmer tilling his fields with a team of oxen and they being in a yoke.
I would then like to take this picture and add scripture to it referring to being unequally yoked or of being heavy laden. This pic would then be given to several individuals I know of who are currently going through some very troubled times. It would also possibly be used in a small group presentation. I would not expect to sell this item in any way.
If you have a photo of this type and would like to share it with me for this purpose I would definitely appreciate it.
If you want you can message it to me.
Thanks again!

Jerry, the Epson 8500 has a cd holder that comes with it. Haven't tried it yet, but am happy with the printer.

OK, sorry I misread your post. Took it to mean printing, NOT a built-in drive. Information overload today I guess.

I reluctantly ordered six Epson ink cartridges from B&H yesterday ($110). They are being delivered today! I was using the ink I got from LD (12 for $24), but the color for graphics isn't quite as good as I'd like.

I'm going to keep swapping out the cheap/expensive cartridges, depending on what I'm printing. It seems that no one makes an ink tank printer that prints on disks.

OSHKOSH—Wisk Aero conducted the first public autonomous demonstration flight of its developmental electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) air taxi July 25 during EAA AirVenture, remotely flying the aircraft for four minutes over Runway 18/36 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
The fifth-generation Cora technology maturation vehicle performed two full passes over the runway, transitioned from vertical to wingborne flight and reached a height of 33 ft. above the ground. Its gross weight for both takeoff and landing was 2,400 lb. because it carried no fuel and no people.
The Gen 5 Cora has 12 electric motors and propellers for hovering, two fixed wings and a pusher propeller for forward flight. It has a two-seat cabin. Wisk is also exhibiting a mockup of its Gen 6 vehicle, a four-seat, high-wing, fully autonomous aircraft that will forgo a pusher propeller. Instead, it will have six tilting propellers in the front for vertical and horizontal flight, and six fixed propellers in the back for vertical lift.
The Gen 6 vehicle is being certified as a special-class aircraft to FAA Part 21.17(b). Although it will not initially be a fully conforming aircraft, Wisk considers it a “product,” not a prototype, that comes with the necessary foundation of systems engineering and requirements to be certified. The company, now a Boeing subsidiary, has not set a date for certification.

Thanks for the writeup. Will have to research this concept more.

I enjoyed doing this for a while. I was surprised at the high competition for assignments, this appears to be a very popular hobby.

It does seem like that. However, please if you do submit photos, please finish the process. I spent 3 hot days two years hunting graves in a KY graveyard to fulfill requests. Had three pages of requests. Got home, processed all 40 some photographs, started the submission process. All of the headstones were already photographed, however somewhere there was or is a disconnect. On the site there is/was a box to check showing that the request had been fulfilled. In none of my 40 some request's had that box been checked. Don't know if it was the photographers mistake or a function of the site program. Please check and make sure that the photograph is not in place before you make the trip.

Missou has the correct idea of free passage into their parks., But they miss the mark with this bridge. Why bridge something as easily traversed as this field of grass? Bridges were usually constructed to cross otherwise uncrossable terrain, such as water, or gorges. "Show Me" the reason?

In his description of the location, the "field of grass" is addressed.
As to the no charge of state parks in Mo., my home state, Tennessee is also a no charge state. davidrb, nice work!

In the late 1800s and early 1900s, Czech and German immigrants built a collection of beautiful churches throughout central Texas.

There are more than 20 painted churches in Texas, many of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Unassuming church exteriors frequently bely the tremendous interior works of art, with hand-painted sculptures, marble walls, intricately designed columns, and vibrant, decorative patterns and stained glass.

During a recent road trip, Anne and I stopped by four of the painted churches near Schulenberg, Texas. These four churches are located near the small towns of Praha, High Hill, Dubina and Ammannsville.

If you are ever travelling between San Antonio and Houston on I-10, stop halfway at Schulenburg and take a one -hour excursion to visit these amazing churches. Enjoy.

tried that yesterday, just spins and spins, same story today. But thanks for the try, there must be a lot to consider from the tech point of view. I typically just shoot and compare/puzzle and try again. that's half the fun of it.

Same thing today!

There are several notable locations near Mountain View, Arkansas (north of Litttle Rock a ways). The Blanchard Springs Caverns are very nice, and the Ozark Cultural Center is quite interesting. The White River also flows through that town and can be scenic (good fishing, too).

Last time we were at Blanchard Springs Caverns, pre Covid, they offered a photography tour that went into parts of the cave that was not on the regular tour. Might check on it.

The monthly challenge of our photo club imposes the following theme: "Close To The Ground". I am short of inspiration...
I have to provide a serie = 6 pictures related to the theme.
In addition to the 4 photos below, I have to offer 3 more photos...but I don’t know what to photograph.
Please, help me to find 3 topics that fit the theme.

If you have a local airport, how about a picture of a small plane from the ground looking looking up, sort of the viewpoint of a two year old child looking up at the plane? Move around to the tail and shot. Very different then the nose on view we are used to.
Or a waterline shot of a boat?

I believe you are correct. He had long wings out the sides of the unit spraying something. This was in early November just before I left.

I have never seen a tractor of any type that had a single front tire. That was different for me.

Thanks for taking a look and commenting.

Dennis

Lots of the older tractors have single front wheels. This machine is a purpose built sprayer, built only for spraying fields, can not be used for other purposes. See a lot of them around here.

Looks like the old tower (been there, that's all I'm going to say about my teenage years!) is a great antenna tower now. Would not like to be up there with all that RF floating around.
